Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Laravel Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework. Your role will include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, collaborating with other developers, and ensuring the security and scalability of the applications you build.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using Laravel.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Build and optimize databases using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relevant databases.
• Work with RESTful APIs to integrate with third-party services or internal systems.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization tasks.
• Ensure security and data protection practices are followed in development.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies related to Laravel and web development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with the design and product teams to develop new features and improve existing ones.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability of your code.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Laravel Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and Laravel framework.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js or React.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Knowledge of modern development tools and workflows (e.g., Composer, Laravel Forge, Docker).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit).
• Knowledge of Laravel queues, jobs, and events.
• Experience with deployment tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Server Side Programming Languages: PHP & Laravel (MUST)
• Framework: Express, Sails.js, Laravel, Node.js .
• Web Server technologies: Apache, Nginx.
• Database creation and integration: MySQL (MUST), PostgreSQL, MongoDb.
• Cloud computing integration e. g., public cloud providers like Amazon Web Services, or private cloud environments.
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic.
• Optimisation of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implementation of security and data protection.
• Design and implementation of data storage solutions.
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Setup and administration of backups.
• Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes

    Requirements

• Knowledge of presenting data in different formats
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science with minimum 5+ years of industry experience.
• Technical depth across multiple languages.
• Able to meet deadlines.
• Leadership experience.
• Strong communications skills.
• Proficient in writing REST APIs.

Must have:

• Knowledge on design, development and deployment of applications based on CMS and Dot Net technology framework
• Strong Analytical, Logical Reasoning and Problem-Solving skills
• Strong in SDLC concepts, RDBMS concepts and SQL/PL-SQL, Data Structures
• Ability to effectively work with a highly technical and virtually located team

Good to have:

• Considerable knowledge in the following: Drupal, .NET MVC, PHP, CSS, Angular, jQuery, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, DevOps, Agile software development 
• Exposure to mobile application development using any one of the mobile development platforms (iOS, Android, Windows)
