Sr. Data Engineer

About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Senior Data Engineer to take full ownership of our database architecture and operations. This is a WFO role that blends high-level database development, database administration (DBA), and customer consultation.

You won't just be writing code in the background; you will be the primary voice for data best practices, helping our customers understand why we build things the way we do.

What You Will Do

• Database Development: Design, develop, and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers.
• Database Management: Oversee database health, performance tuning, security, and backup strategies to ensure maximum uptime.
• Project Support: Act as the database subject matter expert (SME) for cross-functional project teams, ensuring data integrity and scalability in every release.
• Customer Consultation: Work directly with customers to understand their data needs. You will educate them on the "right way" to approach database solutions, guiding them away from quick fixes and toward long-term stability.
• Problem Solving: Proactively identify bottlenecks and resolve database issues before they impact the business.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (Development & Administration) or Postgres Or MySQL.
• Deep expertise in T-SQL and Schema design.
• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
• Strong understanding of database security and maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).

Designation – Project Coordinator

Work Location – Ahmedabad (WFO)

Responsibilities:

Support the project manager with end-to-end project management activities.

Prepare project management deliverables such as the project charter, project plan or schedule, risk and issue tracker, communication plan, stakeholder mapping, MOM, and weekly reports.

Standardize processes and define templates for project deliverables. Prepare reports and dashboards.

Manage resourcing and optimize resource utilization handle knowledge management and organize trainings.

Manage document onboarding and off boarding processes.

Required Skills:

1 to 2 years of professional experience in the IT industry.

Good understanding of SDLC phases, knowledge of project management methodologies and models (Waterfall and Agile).

Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, etc.

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

Attention to detail, negotiation skills, critical thinking, and task management.

1.     Significant experience of working in front-end web development
2.     Extensive programming experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS or LESS, and Bootstrap, Foundation or Materialize
3.     Angular Material, Chart Libraries(D3, Leaflet, Amchart etc).
4.     Solid understanding and development experience in Angular
5.     Experience with Typescript
6.     Experience with tools like Redux, Webpack, Angular CLI and/or Gulp
7.     Experience consuming REST APIs

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• 6 years experience delivering highly available web/mobile applications including 1-3 years as Senior/Lead developer.
• Prior experience in retail domain is a plus.
• 3 years of experience working with distributed teams.
• Deep knowledge of UI Libraries / Frameworks, API (REST), API Management and building scalable and high performance Web APIs.
• Must have experience building websites using Javascript and Java technologies (e.g. Typescript, Spring Boot etc.). Search Engine and Native App development experience is a plus.
• AWS Serverless Cloud native services experience with Lambda functions, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway etc.
• Strong knowledge of Caching frameworks, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of databases, NoSQL data stores, storage and distributed persistence technologies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Passionate about enabling next generation experiences.
• Experience with automated testing, deployment pipelines and cloud based infrastructure

• Develop omni-channel digital solutions leveraging serverless and micro services in a cloud based platform to develop backend services.
