We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with expertise in manual and automation testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products by conducting thorough testing, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure optimal software performance.
- Perform manual and automated testing for web, desktop, and mobile applications using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that existing functionalities are unaffected by new updates or enhancements.
- Analyze product requirements, system specifications, and code to design test strategies that align with project goals.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Ensure compliance with software development life cycle (SDLC) quality standards and best practices.
- Document and report testing phases, defect details, and resolutions clearly and concisely.
- Continuously optimize QA processes and explore new methodologies and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
- Prepare and set up test environments and test data for seamless execution of testing efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and advancements in software testing and automation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1+ years) as a QA Tester or similar role in manual and automation testing.
- Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and basic programming knowledge (e.g., SQL, Java, or Python).
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and QA principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in global teams and multitask effectively.
