Software Test Engineer

Objectives of this role

• Develop, test and maintain high-quality software using Python programming language.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, building, testing and delivering high-quality solutions.

• Write clean and reusable code that can be easily maintained and scaled.

Your tasks

• Create large-scale data processing pipelines to help developers build and train novel machine learning algorithms.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality and identify areas for improvement to implement practical solutions.
• Debugging codes when required and troubleshooting any Python-related queries.
• Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Python development. 

Required skills and qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Python Developer with a strong portfolio of projects.
• Hands on exp in angular 12+v
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, sci-kit-learn and PyTorch.
• Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
• Excellent problem-solving ability with solid communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Experience with popular Python frameworks such as Django, Flask or Pyramid.
• Knowledge of Angular
• A working understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
• Contributions to open-source Python projects or active involvement in the Python community.

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and resourceful HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations

and drive people-centric initiatives across departments. The ideal candidate will support talent

acquisition, employee engagement, policy implementation, compliance, and overall HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

 Coordinate end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, screening,

interviewing, and offer roll-out.

 Facilitate smooth onboarding and induction processes for new hires.

 Work with department heads to forecast staffing needs.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

 Act as a point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and conflict resolution.

 Drive employee engagement activities and events.

3. HR Operations

 Maintain and update HRIS/database for employee records.

 Prepare HR reports and dashboards (attendance, attrition, etc.).

 Manage performance appraisal processes in coordination with leadership.

4. Policy & Compliance

 Implement and ensure adherence to HR policies and labor law regulations.

 Support in drafting and revising company policies and HR manuals.

 Handle documentation, contracts, and compliance audits.

5. Training & Development

 Coordinate training programs and development plans aligned with organizational goals.

 Identify skill gaps and assist in L&D initiatives.

Key Skills & Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

(MBA/PGDM preferred).

 2–4 years of experience in an HR generalist or similar role.

 Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.

 Proficiency with HR software/tools (e.g., Zoho People, Excel, ATS platforms).

• Build (and open source) data processing, storage and fetch systems at the petabyte scale with the lowest cost/GB while still responding in milliseconds at the 99th percentile. 
• Optimize algorithms which influence personalization, fulfillment/allocation, pricing, maps & routing, fleet positioning, payments, fraud prevention etc 
• Create platforms, reusable libraries, and utilities wherever applicable 
• Write high-quality code that is modular, functional and testable; Establish the best coding practices 
• Formally mentor junior engineers on design, coding, and troubleshooting 
• Troubleshoot issues effectively in a distributed architecture 
• Communicate, collaborate and work effectively in a global environment 
• Operationalize releases by partnering with Tech operations on capacity planning and operability of the product

Educational Qualifications:

•  Deep understanding of one or more of Java/Go/Scala/C++. Ability to understand and critique the core library/language constructs. 
• Knowledge of processor, memory, network and storage internals. 
• Deep understanding of distributed systems including fault modeling, concurrency, isolation, consensus etc. 
• Internals of a RDBMS like MySQL 
• Conversant with the internals of systems like Kafka, Cassandra/Scylla, Redis, RocksDB, etc 
• Working knowledge of hosting and network infrastructure (K8s, Envoy, etc) 
• Familiarity with binary serialization protocols like thrift/protobuf/flatbuffers etc 
• Familiar with gRPC, HTTP/2, QUIC, etc. 
• Troubleshooting memory issues, GC tuning, resource leaks etc. 
• Strong problem-solving skills, algorithmic skills and data structures. 
• Productionizing machine learning pipelines using Spark/Flink/TensorFlow etc
