SQL Developer 

Roles & Responsibilities :

Designing Database, writing stored procedures, complex and dynamic queries in SQL

Creating Indexes, Views, complex Triggers, effective Functions, and appropriate store procedures to facilitate efficient data manipulation and data consistency

Implementing database architecture, ETL and development activities

Troubleshooting data load, ETL and application support related issues

Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environments

Troubleshooting failed batch jobs, correcting outstanding issues and resubmitting scheduled jobs to ensure completion

Troubleshoot, optimize, and tune SQL processes and complex SQL queries

Required Qualifications/Experience

4+ years of experience in the design and optimization of MySQL databases

General database development using MySQL

Advanced level of writing stored procedures, reading query plans, tuning indexes and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks

Troubleshoot, optimize, and tune SQL processes and complex SQL queries

Experienced and versed in creating sophisticated MySQL Server databases to quickly handle complex queries

Problem solving, analytical and fluent communication

- You should have a knack for design, attention to detail, and ninja-level expertise with design fundamentals, including composition, typography, color, iconography, and data visualization.​

- Along with in-depth knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Keynote, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, you should also have strong data visualization skills. ​

- Collaboration with other designers, copywriters, internal partners, and clients should come naturally to you.​

- An open-minded person who loves to set new benchmarks is desirable. ​Also, should be respectful of deadlines and willing to add value wherever required.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 3-5 years of work experience in the development background, with at least 2 years experience in Java, Spring, Sprint Boot, Hibernate or JPA, MySQL, Oracle, Spring MVC.
• B.E. degree in Computer Science, Graduate in Software Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in Core JAVA, Spring, Spring Boot Frameworks.
• Experience with ORM's like Hibernate.
• Good knowledge of developing RESTful web services using Spring Boot, Java1.x,Servlet2.4, JSP2.0, JDBC3.0, Java Mail, Struts2.x, HTML, HTML5, Angular7+, JavaScript, JSF, Bootstrap2.x-3.x, JQuery & CSS 3.x, Maven 3.x, Apache Tomcat7
• Knowledge of Cloud AWS.
• Experience in any Messaging Queue e.g. Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, etc.
• Experience on Web services with REST and SOAP.
• Experience working on tool set like Eclipse IDE, SQL clients.
• Experience using application server like Jboss, TomCat, Wildfly, glassfish.
• Experience in using tools like SOAP UI, POSTMAN
• Ability to write SQL queries to fetch data.
• Knowledge of Micro services, Redis Cache and Mongo DB (or any other NoSQL) is good to have

Role and Responsibilities

• Build a low latency serving layer that powers DataWeave's Dashboards, Reports, and Analytics functionality
• Build robust RESTful APIs that serve data and insights to DataWeave and other products
• Design user interaction workflows on our products and integrating them with data APIs
• Help stabilize and scale our existing systems. Help design the next generation systems.
• Scale our back end data and analytics pipeline to handle increasingly large amounts of data.
• Work closely with the Head of Products and UX designers to understand the product vision and design philosophy
• Lead/be a part of all major tech decisions. Bring in best practices. Mentor younger team members and interns.
• Constantly think scale, think automation. Measure everything. Optimize proactively.
• Be a tech thought leader. Add passion and vibrance to the team. Push the envelope.

Skills and Requirements

• 8- 15 years of experience building and scaling APIs and web applications.
• Experience building and managing large scale data/analytics systems.
• Have a strong grasp of CS fundamentals and excellent problem solving abilities. Have a good understanding of software design principles and architectural best practices.
• Be passionate about writing code and have experience coding in multiple languages, including at least one scripting language, preferably Python.
• Be able to argue convincingly why feature X of language Y rocks/sucks, or why a certain design decision is right/wrong, and so on.
• Be a self-starter—someone who thrives in fast paced environments with minimal ‘management’.
• Have experience working with multiple storage and indexing technologies such as MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, Elastic.
• Good knowledge (including internals) of messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Use the command line like a pro. Be proficient in Git and other essential software development tools.
• Working knowledge of large-scale computational models such as MapReduce and Spark is a bonus.
• Exposure to one or more centralized logging, monitoring, and instrumentation tools, such as Kibana, Graylog, StatsD, Datadog etc.
• Working knowledge of building websites and apps. Good understanding of integration complexities and dependencies.
• Working knowledge linux server administration as well as the AWS ecosystem is desirable.
