Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Rust Developer with at least 3 years of experience to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in building robust and scalable APIs using the Rocket framework, and have hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and the Diesel ORM. You will be working on performance-critical backend systems, designing APIs, managing deployments, and collaborating closely with other developers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Rocket.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases, using Diesel ORM for efficient data access.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Rust code.
• Apply object-oriented and functional programming principles effectively.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and WebSockets for real-time communication.
• Handle server-side deployments and assist in managing the infrastructure.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and DevOps engineers to integrate systems smoothly.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Apply knowledge of data structures and algorithms to solve complex problems efficiently.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with Rust in production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Rocket framework.
• Solid understanding of Diesel ORM and PostgreSQL.
• Good grasp of OOP and functional programming concepts.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and other web protocols.
• Experience handling application deployments and basic server management.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code.

The ideal candidate would be part of the initial Tech team to lead the technology development and transform the firm's vision into deliverables through technology applications. The candidate has upto 5 years of experience in application development and has a strong foothold in both backend and front-end development.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Writing python codes for various market data which includes maths and statistical models, fundamental analysis, and sentiment studies. Proficient in Python with a good understanding of various libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, SciPy.
2. Build and develop the efficient architecture of the product to improve the performance and computing speed, with a good understanding of the Django framework.
3. Deploy and maintain the product on a cloud server, handling asynchronous tasks. Good understanding of AWS, Azure, or other cloud infrastructure.
4. Manage data and database, a good understanding of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other databases.
5. Fluent in integrating systems using API's.
6. Understanding of front-end applications like Angular, React, Vuejs, and other java applications.
7. Lead, train, and guide the team of junior developers.
8. Understanding and application of Machine learning is a plus.

Skills And Qualifications

• 7+ years of the overall experience.
• Strong Practical knowledge and understanding of RESTful API
• Excellent Python coding skills and understanding of Python best practices (PEP8)
• Should handle a team of minimum 4 members
• Excellent detail-oriented, problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts, principles, and solutions
• 7+ years of good hands-on experience in Python, with knowledge of Django
• Good hands-on experience in SQL Database (MYSQL / Postgres)
• Familiarity of Front End Development ( ReactJS )
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Strong unit test and debugging skills
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools GIT.
• Has experience of working in an Agile Environment.
• Fluent in English (written and oral) Fluency in a second language is preferred.
• Comfortable working remotely with great communication skills for a remote work environment.

Bonus qualifications

• Knowledge of any cloud. ( Especially Azure )

• Experience as a full stack developer or similar role.
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages is good to have (e.g. Java, Scala, Python, C#, J2EE, Web Services) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications and familiarity with common stacks.
• Experience with large-scale distributed storage and database systems (SQL or NoSQL, e.g. MongoDB/Cassandra/MySQL).
