Software Developer - Frontend

We are looking for a Frontend Developer. As a Frontend Developer, you should be comfortable with Front-end languages, Frameworks, and third-party Libraries. You should also be a team playerwith a a knack for visual design and utility.

Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams and product managers in agile methodology
• Design client-side architecture
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role.
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e. g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).
• Sound Knowledge of ES5 ES6 Javascript Standards
• Knowledge of multiple JavaScript Libraries/frameworks (e. g. React, Angular).
• Knowledge of multiple Global State Management Library (e. g Redux).
• Knowledge of Class-Based Component and Functional Components(Hooks)
• Familiarity with UI/UX design (Mobile Responsive).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• · 3+ years of software engineering experience primarily leveraging ReactJS. · Strong engineering and technical background with demonstrable enterprise development experience using ReactJS and RESTful APIs. · Deep understanding of JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5 and CSS. · Experience using Redux, Web Workers and PWAs. · Experience with continuous integration and build (CI/CD) process & tools. · Proven ability to quickly understand functional requirements and technical concepts. · Experience with TDD and familiarity with testing frameworks, ideally Cypress, Selenium and PACT. · Exposure to mobile development via React Native an advantage. Senior / Lead Full Stack or Frontend Engineer

Hiring for a Series E, 3.1 Billion Dollar rapidly growing organisation focused on payments, marketing and customer loyalty.

• To take ownership of delivering performant, scalable and high quality cloud based software, both frontend and backend side.
• Code reviews.
• Mentoring Team members to develop in line with product requirements.
• Collaborate with Senior Architect for design and technology choices for product development roadmap.

• Thorough knowledge of developing cloud based software including backend apis and react/angular based frontend.

Front-end engineers at AssetSprout work on our products. They include software for Certified Financial Planners, their clients, and also internal admin tools. They work with the founders, product designers, and backend engineers and deliver towards the company’s vision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own product features end to end in a scalable, secure and maintainable way. The buck stops with you on whatever you own.
• Provide technical solutions through design, architecture and implementation. Wear multiple hats in delivering greenfield projects from concept to production. 
• Work with the product and design team in understanding and shaping the customer experience.
• Establish, advocate and bring your experience on coding styles, best practices, and in scaling the product from MVP to production.
• Iterate fast. Display maturity in prioritizing towards velocity while balancing quality. As a startup, we break or make on how fast we deliver.
• Teach and mentor other front-end engineers. Focus on providing technical expertise and solutions regardless of how long one has been working professionally.

Requirements

• Professional experience working with any of the front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Ember etc.
• Solid expert level understanding of Semantic HTML, CSS and JavaScript concepts.
• Have written automated tests with any of the frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, AVA, Karma etc.
• Able to use CI/CD tools such as CircleCI, GitLab, Jenkins etc. and create workflows and pipelines to release to production every other day.
• Good understanding of how a browser parses and renders a web page.
• Understand HTTP requests, Restful APIs and web applications.
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud computing platform and being able to leverage its various services such as CodePipeline, CodeBuild, EKS, ECS etc.
