Required Skills & Experience

• Must have 8+ years relevant experience in Java Design Development.
• Extensive experience working on solution design and API design.
• Experience in Java development at an enterprise level (Spring Boot, Java 17+, Spring Security, Microservices, Spring).
• Extensive work experience in monolithic applications using Spring.
• Extensive experience leading API development and integration (REST/JSON).
• Extensive work experience using Apache Camel.
• In-depth technical knowledge of database systems (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Ability to refactor and optimize existing code for performance, readability, and maintainability.
• Experience working with Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience in container platforms (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
• DevOps knowledge including:
• Configuring continuous integration, deployment, and delivery tools like Jenkins or Codefresh
• Container-based development using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Instrumenting monitoring and logging of applications

• Clarify feature requirements with product team
• Design end to end feature flow
• Write scalable and bug free code
• Take care of test and deployment pipeline
• Maintaining the existing products

• Must have experience with any scripting language (Javascript/NodeJS preferred)
• Experience with API-driven and highly scalable application is a plus
• Good knowledge of non relational DB (MongoDB preferred)
• Good with data structure and algorithms
• Good to have an experience with testing framework and CI/CD pipeline

• We are looking for an experienced software engineer with at least 5 years of experience in a startup or product environment. Ideally you have been involved in all aspects of software development from requirements gathering to design, development, deployment and post-release support. We are looking for all-round technical maturity. Our tech stack is Angular, Spring boot and Django/Python.

Responsibilities and Duties

Build out features across the stack : backend, API design and integration, database optimization , microservices, plugins, queues etc

Fix bugs and write automated tests

Maintain and upgrade our Tech Stack

Translate requirements to design and write/present articulate software design.

• Understand the fundamentals of Software Engineering, such as Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns
• Ability to write Java applications using Spring, Springboot or any other microservices frameworks
• Experience in the development of REST applications, in Java or Kotlin
• Capable of writing effective APIs
• Solid knowledge of JVM fundamentals such as classloading, memory management, garbage collection
• Demonstrated experience in platform API design and development
• Knowledge on microservice and event-driven architecture
• Experience in working with version control frameworks such as Git (preferable), SVN
•      Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB or Cassandra) & Relational Databases
• Solid understanding of TDD & Agile principles such as CI / CD, with a proven track record of implementing solutions centred around those concepts

• Experience in designing and developing web-based applications using Java, J2EE, Web Services, MVC framework, Servlets Spring, Hibernate, Struts, REST, MYSQL.
• Experience in Database application programming for MySQL server using
  Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views etc.
• Experienced in implementing presentation layer using JSP, HTML, CSS, Ajax, JQuery. Java script.
• Formulated AWS (EC2, S3, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, Route53, SG, ELB, IAM, CloudWatch). (ABOVE ONLY NEEDED FOR 7+ EXPERIENCE)
• Experienced in Analysis, Design, Development, Integration, Deployment
  and Maintenance of Web services, Client Server and Web based applications.
• Well versed with Agile development process, Scrum.
• Good knowledge in version control system tools like GIT.
• Ability to take independent responsibility as well as ability to contribute and be a productive team member.
• Excellent analytical, logical and programming skills, Self-Motivated, Self-Starter, Team Player can work with minimal supervision with effective Communication
