Roles and Responsibilities:

Must have- Microservices, Java ,Vertex AI

Designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient microservices using Java and related technologies.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and other developers, to define and implement microservices solutions.

Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and design patterns.

Ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of the microservices by conducting thorough testing and optimization.

Integrating microservices with other systems and third-party APIs to enable seamless data exchange.

Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in the microservices architecture to ensure high availability and performance.

Good working knowledge of design pattern and good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).

Critical Skills to Possess:

3+ years of work experience with web applications.

Experience designing microservices using Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.

Experience in both relational and NoSQL database – MySQL, Couchbase.

Experience writing unit test(jUnit) cases during application development.

Experience with Jenkins for build and deployment job and an understanding of CI/CD. ""

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline

• Expertise in software design and development
• Proficiency with at least one Object Oriented language (e.g. Java)
• Have knowledge about Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
• A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects
• Experience with building high-performance, highly available and scalable distributed systems
• Experience with API Design, ability to architect and implement an intuitive customer and third-party integration story
• Ability to think and analyse both breadthwise (client, server, DB, control flow) and depth-wise (threads, sessions, space-time complexity) while designing and implementing services

Key Responsibilities: 

• Rewrite existing APIs in NodeJS. 
• Remodel the APIs into Micro services-based architecture. 
• Implement a caching layer wherever possible. 
• Optimize the API for high performance and scalability. 
• Write unit tests for API Testing.
• Automate the code testing and deployment process.

Skills Required: 

• At least 2.5 years of experience developing Backends using NodeJS — should be well versed with its asynchronous nature & event loop, and know its quirks and workarounds. 
• Excellent hands-on experience using MySQL or any other SQL Database. 
• Good knowledge of MongoDB or any other NoSQL Database. 
• Good knowledge of Redis, its data types, and their use cases. 
• Experience with graph-based databases like GraphQL and Neo4j. 
• Experience developing and deploying REST APIs. 
• Good knowledge of Unit Testing and available Test Frameworks. 
• Good understanding of advanced JS libraries and frameworks. 
• Experience with Web sockets, Service Workers, and Web Push Notifications. 
• Familiar with NodeJS profiling tools.

• Good knowledge of creating and maintaining DevOps infrastructure on cloud platforms.

Role / Purpose - Lead Developer - API and Microservices

Must have a strong hands-on development track record building integration utilizing a variety of integration products, tools, protocols, technologies, and patterns.

• Must have an in-depth understanding of SOA/EAI/ESB concepts, SOA Governance, Event-Driven Architecture, message-based architectures, file sharing, and exchange platforms, data virtualization and caching strategies, J2EE design patterns, frameworks
• Should possess experience with at least one of middleware technologies (Application Servers, BPMS, BRMS, ESB & Message Brokers), Programming languages (e.g. Java/J2EE, JavaScript, COBOL, C), Operating Systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, MVS), and Databases (DB2, MySQL, No SQL Databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop, etc.)
• Must have experience implementing API Service architectures (SOAP, REST) using any of the market-leading API Management tools such as Apigee and frameworks such as Spring Boot for Microservices
• Should have Advanced skills in implementing API Service architectures (SOAP, REST) using any of the market-leading API Management tools such as Apigee or similar frameworks such as Spring Boot for Microservices
