Job Title: Software Development Engineer – III (SDE-III)

Location: Sector 55, Gurugram (Onsite)

Work Timings: Regular day shift, 5 days working

Role Overview

As an SDE-III at Master-O, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and scaling core product features used by large enterprises with high user volumes. You will work closely with Product, Design, and Customer Success teams to deliver robust, high-performance solutions while ensuring best engineering practices.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical depth, system thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–5 years of full-time professional experience in software development
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• React.js
• Node.js & Express.js
• JavaScript
• MySQL
• AWS
• Prior experience working in B2B SaaS companies (preferred)
• Experience handling enterprise-level applications with high concurrent users
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication, authorization, and backend architecture
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Comfortable working in an onsite, collaborative team environment

Good to Have

• Experience working with or integrating LLMs, AI assistants, or Agentic AI systems
• Experience with cloud platforms and deployment workflows

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development and support of the .NET applications across diverse technology stacks.
• Independently maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance legacy .NET applications
• Build and Enhance applications using Latest .NET Technologies using Microservices architecture
• Deploy application fixes using Devops pipeline using GitHub actions and other CI tools
• Investigate and fix bugs, optimize performance, and ensure system reliability.
• Implement enhancements to meet customer needs while maintaining backward compatibility.
• Support data migration and customer transition to a cloud-based product.
• Collaborate with product, support, and operations teams to ensure a stable and effective product experience.
• Provide long-term technical support and modernization recommendations where appropriate.

Skills Required

• Proven experience working with legacy and Modern.NET applications (C# .NET, ASP.NET, Web Services, Microservices, Entity Framework, XML, Json).
• Hands-on experience with .NET, JavaScript, HTML5 and Angular is Mandatory.
• Comfortable working with older codebases and understanding existing system logic.
• Experience with SQL Server (stored procedures, optimization, and maintenance).
• Willingness to focus on support, maintenance, and incremental improvements rather than greenfield development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to software maintenance.
• Strong debugging skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Prior experience with enterprise or long-standing software products is a plus.
• Must be detail-oriented, patient, and committed to long-term product stability.
• Experience with upgrading legacy applications to adhere to modern, up-to-date development standards is a bonus

Role and Responsibilities

•  Working with front-end developers and providing server-side algorithms of user-facing web application elements.
• Coding and creating functional web applications, optimizing code for increasing response time and efficiency.
• Analyzing the goals and requirements, efficiently handling bugs and errors, and finding effective solutions for the same.
•  Interacting with the database for storing data and ensuring that every user has access to what they search.
•  Accomplishing the projects and goals within deadline.
• Managing APIs that are executed across the devices.
•  Involving in defining the architecture of the system.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of PHP and related frameworks like Laravel, Codeigniter, Yii. Competent in Ruby, Python, nodeJs, and Java will be an added advantage.
• Good Communication, Analytical, Logical, and Leadership skills.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies, such as Angular, React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be preferred.
• Capable of managing a hosting environment along with database administration such as MySQL, Oracle.
• Excellent knowledge of APIs (REST, SOAP) and Web services.
• Ability to scale applications to handle the load changes.
• Knowledge of accessibility and security compliance.
• Good to have experience in version control, such as GIT.

Full Stack Developer 2+ yrs exp mandatory

Responsibilities:

• Architecting and developing backend web applications / APIs
