Position: Robotics Intern

Duration: 3–6 Months

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate Robotics Intern to join our advanced robotics team. This internship offers a fast-paced, end-to-end engineering experience involving aerial robotics, embedded systems, autonomous navigation, perception, and real-world prototype development.

This role is ideal for students and early-career engineers looking to gain practical experience in designing, building, testing, and improving autonomous robotic platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Build

• Assemble and integrate motors, ESCs, sensors, flight controllers, microcontrollers, and communication modules.
• Design and prototype electronic systems for rapid testing and development.
• Assist in mechanical assembly, wiring, and hardware integration of robotic platforms.

Embedded Systems & Control

• Develop Python and C/C++ software for sensor integration, control systems, and autonomous behaviours.
• Interface with hardware and wireless communication protocols.
• Implement safety mechanisms, telemetry systems, and fault-detection routines.

Autonomous Navigation & Perception

• Integrate sensors such as IMUs, GPS, LiDAR, cameras, depth sensors, and range finders.
• Develop and test localization, navigation, and obstacle-avoidance capabilities.
• Work with computer vision and perception pipelines for environmental awareness.

ROS 2 & SLAM

• Implement and tune SLAM and localization frameworks using ROS 2.
• Work with tools such as Cartographer, RTAB-Map, Nav2, and related autonomy stacks.

System Integration & Testing

• Integrate hardware, firmware, and software into a fully functional robotic system.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and validation across electronics, software, and mechanical subsystems.
• Conduct field testing and analyse system performance.

Rapid Prototyping & Iteration

• Build, test, evaluate, and refine prototypes through iterative development cycles.
• Contribute innovative ideas to improve system reliability and performance.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with robotics, embedded systems or related projects.
• Proficiency in Python and basic C/C++ programming.
• Understanding of sensors, control systems, communication protocols, and microcontroller-based development.
• Experience with hardware assembly, wiring, debugging, and soldering.
• Comfortable working on both software and physical hardware systems.

The MicroStrategy Developer has overall responsibility for the BI application and platform, project creation and architecture, administration, object and schema creation, security, performance improvements, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. To succeed in this role, you’ll need proven experience in MicroStrategy development and administration, as well as a strong understanding of enterprise reporting, data warehousing, data modelling and SQL. 

Location:  Mumbai/Bengaluru/Hyderabad/ Gurgaon (Hybrid - 3 Day WFO) 

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, test, and deploy MicroStrategy Dashboards, Dossiers, Reports and Documents and supporting objects. 
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications. 
• Liaise with the IT infrastructure team to manage MicroStrategy environments, including upgrade strategies and security considerations. 
• Be able to work on feature enhancement pertaining to retail KPIs in existing reports. 
• Interact and assist with ad-hoc reporting and access requests from business users. 
• Experienced in communicating and applying Best Practices on the use of MicroStrategy. 
• Works effectively with members of management. 
• Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in BI, business analytics, and other technologies 

Requirements

• Overall 6+ years experience with BI technologies, with 4+ years of experience in MicroStrategy development.
• Experience with Administration tools like MicroStrategy Object Manager, MicroStrategy Command Manager, MicroStrategy Enterprise Manager in Version 11.3.  
• Ability to create MicroStrategy schemas and application objects such as attributes, metrics, prompts, filters, templates.  
• Knowledge of meta data creation (framework models/universe), creating report specifications, integration planning, unit testing planning and testing, UAT and implementation support.  
• Knowledge of advanced filters, conditional formatting, transformation and level metrics and customer groups.  
• Ability to define relationships between attributes, facts and other objects within MicroStrategy.  
• Ability to define Hierarchies and drill functionality within MicroStrategy.  
• Strong experience in writing SQL and good working knowledge of SQL Server databases.  
• Ability to design and develop interactive dashboards and visualization in MicroStrategy, leveraging advanced features such as drilling, filtering and dynamic content to enable intuitive data exploration and analysis.  
• Optimize MicroStrategy performance by fine tuning queries, optimizing data storage and implementing best practices for data modelling and schema design.  
• Provide training and support to end users and business analysts on MicroStrategy functionality, data modelling concepts and best practices for data visualization and analysis.  

We are looking for an entry level developer to join our team. You must have delivered at least 2 projects either as a part of self training, internships or industry experience.

Required Skills (more the better):

• Native iOS Application Development with Swift, understanding of Objective C, iOS SDK, Xcode, Cocoa Layer, Media Layer, Core Service Layer, Core OS Layer, iOS Frameworks, iOS Developer Tools, iOS programming, iOS Human Interface
• Hybrid mobile application development using Flutter will be an added advantage
• Deployment/ publish in Apple App Store
• Understanding of design patterns like MVC

Additional Skills:

• Versioning tools such as Git, Bit Bucket, and concepts like branching
• DevOps: Knowledge of operating systems, hosting and deployment on cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Azure etc will be added advantage
