About the Role

As a Subject Matter Expert/Team Lead in software development, you will be responsible for overseeing front-end and back-end development teams and their projects. You will push the boundaries of back-end development using the MEAN stack, design and implement APIs to

support front-end services and contribute to the creation of a highly scalable, flexible, and secure backend. In addition, your role will involve optimizing team performance and development through effective leadership and management.

end and backend.

Job Brief

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate scalable software solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Design, develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Develop web applications implementing MVT architecture using Django web application frameworks
• Write effective APIs
• Manage the complete software development process from conception to deployment
• Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment
• Should be able to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it
• Experience with Django, Flask, rest frameworks

• Work with server-side technologies including databases and MVC and MVT patterns
• Maintain version control system such as GIT
• Should know all the phases of SDLC from requirement gathering to support and maintenance.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years proven experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures and system design
• Knowledge of LAMP and MEAN solution stacks
• Ability to develop front end website architecture and back-end website applications
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue, XML, jQuery and LESS)
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript framework like Node.js
• Familiarity with databases (MySQL, SQL, MongoDB), web servers (Apache) and UI/UX design

5. Good understanding of object-oriented modelling.
6. Data modelling experience in both relational and NoSQL databases(MongoDB preferred).
7. Working knowledge on rest services, cache, ci/cd pipelines.
8. Good understanding of Agile methodologies, TDD and Automation
9. Passion for learning new things and solving challenging problems.
10. Past experience in DevOps/AI/ML/Python would be a good plus.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Computer science graduates would be preferred

2. Should have at least 1 year of experience as a software developer in ReactJS

3. Should be a contributor to the software development process and part of an software team

4. Can keep up to date with developments in (open source) frontend libraries, frameworks, and software development practices

5. In-depth knowledge of ReactJS, Redux, Flux, and JavaScript (ES6)

6. In-depth knowledge of Express.js and Node.js

7. Should have been working on React for at least 12 months (90% of the time)

8. Good problem-solving skills

9. Experience in Mongoose & MongoDB is a plus

10. Experience with the testing frameworks for JavaScript is a plus

11. Experience with JS module bundlers like Web Pack & Rollup

12. Experience with Babel as a compiler

13. Experience with agile software development techniques is a plus
