We are seeking an experienced Python Data Engineer with a strong foundation in API and basic UI development. This role is essential for advancing our analytics capabilities for AI products, helping us gain deeper insights into product performance and driving data-backed improvements. If you have a background in AI/ML, familiarity with large language models (LLMs), and a solid grasp of Python libraries for AI, we’d like to connect!

Key Responsibilities

•   Develop Analytics Framework: Build a comprehensive analytics framework to evaluate and monitor AI product performance and business value.

•   Define KPIs with Stakeholders: Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish and measure KPIs that gauge AI product maturity and impact.

•   Data Analysis for Actionable Insights: Dive into complex data sets to identify patterns and provide actionable insights to support product improvements.

•   Data Collection & Processing: Lead data collection, cleaning, and processing to ensure high-quality, actionable data for analysis.

•   Clear Reporting of Findings: Present findings to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner, emphasizing actionable insights.

Required Skills

•   Technical Skills:

o   Proficiency in Python, including experience with key AI/ML libraries.

o   Basic knowledge of UI and API development.

o   Understanding of large language models (LLMs) and experience using them effectively.

•   Analytical & Communication Skills:

o   Strong problem-solving skills to address complex, ambiguous challenges.

o   Ability to translate data insights into understandable reports for non-technical stakeholders.

o   Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and frameworks to assess AI product effectiveness.

o   Experience in statistical methods to interpret data and build metrics frameworks.

o   Skilled in quantitative analysis to drive actionable insights.

Job Description

We’re a small team with insanely large ambitions. We are looking for a Software Engineer who will help shape Safe Gold’s product and marketing strategies by processing, analyzing and interpreting data sets. You will work closely with the tech, product and business teams for designing and developing a scalable application architecture, based on business requirements. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in

PHP and Relational as well as NoSql Databases (MySQL,MongoDB). You will have strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction to thrive in our work environment.

What will your job entail:

● Implement a robust set of services and APIs to power the web application.

● Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

● Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.

● Implement security and data protection as per industry standards.

● Monitor the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application

● Coordinate with the product team to understand the requirements and formulate a detailed technical documentation.

● Assist junior developers if required.

Key Requirements:

● 4-7 years of experience in software development, at least 1 year of experience in a product based startup is preferable

● Strong understanding of MVC Architecture

● Atleast 2-3 years of working experience in PHP is a must have and proficiency in Laravel Framework will be a plus

● Proficient knowledge of both Relational as well as NoSql Databases (MySQL,MongoDB) is a must have

● Working knowledge of Python and Django/Flask Framework is good to have

● Familiarity with advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS

● Strong understanding of fundamental design principles to build a scalable application.

● Experience with implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.

● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git).

● At least 2 years of experience working on AWS cloud platform, using tools like EC2,RDS,Lambda, SQS, Elasticache

• 8+ years of relevant work experience
• Well-versed in data structures, algorithms, and software design. Programming experience with at least one of
• Java or Python and object-oriented design
• Knowledge on SQL, NoSQL databases, Messaging/Caching technologies and AW deployments is a plus
• Exposure to the architecture and design (design patterns, security, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems. Experience in building highly scalable business applications, which involve implementing large complex business flows involving multiple third-party integrations
• Prior startup experience is a plus

Education, Experience, and Certification:

1. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred (Computer Science, Engineer, etc.), but equivalent work experience in a technology related area may substitute.
2. 5+ years relevant experience, required. *
3. Experience using version control daily in a developer environment.
4. Experience with Python, JavaScript, and React is required.
5. Experience using rapid development frameworks like Django or Flask.
6. Experience using front end build tools.
