We're looking for a Content & Creative Associate who enjoys wearing multiple hats and loves turning meaningful work into compelling stories. This role is for someone who can think strategically, create engaging content, and help take Polygnan's stories to a wider audience. From social media and newsletters to programme reports, event materials, and website content, you'll play a key role in building Polygnan's digital identity and presence.

What You'll Do

Brand & Content Strategy

• Develop content strategies that strengthen Polygnan's brand and digital presence.
• Identify storytelling opportunities across programmes, events, and the organisation.
• Plan content calendars and campaigns across platforms.

Social Media & Digital Content

• Create engaging content for Instagram, LinkedIn, the website, blogs, newsletters, and other digital platforms.
• Write both short-form and long-form content tailored to different audiences.
• Manage and grow Polygnan's digital presence across platforms.

Storytelling & Video

• Capture stories from the ground, including student journeys, mentor experiences, programme highlights, and behind-the-scenes moments.
• Support video content creation by ideating concepts, writing scripts, coordinating shoots, and assisting with production.

Reports & Communications

• Create programme reports that communicate outcomes, learnings, and impact in a clear and engaging way.
• Develop promotional materials for programmes, events, and campaigns.
• Manage and write newsletters and other organisational communications.

Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with the programme and operations teams to understand content requirements and deliver them effectively.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders such as designers, editors, photographers, videographers, and creative agencies whenever required.

Job Description: Database Administrator (DBA)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled, process-oriented, and proactive Database Administrator (DBA) with 3–5 years of experience in managing enterprise databases and cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in RDBMS technologies such as DB2 and columnar cloud databases, preferably Snowflake, along with exposure to DevOps tools and containerized environments such as Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git.

The candidate will be responsible for database administration, performance tuning, automation, deployment support, and ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and adherence to operational processes and standards across enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and maintain RDBMS environments, primarily DB2.

Manage and support columnar cloud database platforms, preferably Snowflake.

Perform database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery planning.

Optimize SQL queries, indexing strategies, and database performance.

Support database migration, patching, upgrades, and capacity planning activities.

Follow and contribute to standardized operational processes, documentation, change management, and governance practices.

Ensure adherence to SLA, incident management, release management, and compliance procedures.

Support CI/CD and DevOps processes related to database deployments and infrastructure automation.

Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for release management and environment provisioning.

Work with containerized and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.

Utilize Jenkins pipelines for deployment automation and operational workflows.

Maintain version control and configuration management using Git.

Monitor database health, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Ensure database security, compliance, and best practices are followed.

Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

3–5 years of hands-on experience as a DBA or Database Engineer.

Strong experience with RDBMS technologies, specifically:

IBM DB2

Hands-on experience with columnar cloud databases: Preferably Snowflake

Strong knowledge of SQL scripting and query tuning.

Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.

Experience with: 

Kubernetes

Jenkins

Git/GitHub/GitLab

Understanding of Linux/Unix administration.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.

Knowledge of shell scripting or Python for automation is preferred.
