Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React.js, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Strong experience in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or PHP.
• Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Experience in microservices based architecture is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver robust and scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

• Translate user requirements and wireframes into ecient and responsive front-end components while ensuring high performance and usability.

• Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js, ensuring smooth integration with the front-end components.

• Design and implement data models, schemas, and queries for MongoDB, and manage database interactions effectively.

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

• Perform unit and integration testing of both front-end and back-end components to ensure reliability and quality of the application.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues that arise during development, testing, and deployment phases.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance application performance, security, and maintainability.

• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers when necessary.

• Expertise with NodeJS (extensively using ExpressJS), AngularJS and MySQL
• Rich user interface development experience with HTML5, JQuery, w3css/bootstrap etc and JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS and Angular 
• Expertise in building real-time web applications using MQTT, Websocket, Socket.IO, and EventSource frameworks
• Comfortable with developing MVC architecture-based code
• Comfortable in using at least one of the Graph/Chart libraries
• Ability with report generation from HTML contents
• Skilled in implementing security features across the applications and components
• Experience with tools usage - Code quality, Memory/CPU profiling tools
• Skilled with code optimization techniques
• Experience with docker container usage
• Experience with LDAP is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting techniques
• The strong defect resolution process for minimized latency
• Familiarity with confluence management (JIRA)
• Good to have a basic understanding of PHP frameworks like Yii, Codeigniter and databases like  MongoDB
• Good to have strong networking fundamentals, prior working experience in network technologies and protocols
• Ability to build supportability features to reduce the defects in software components
• Knowledge of GNU tools, revision control software (SVN, Git, etc.) and development lifecycle is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Building and implementing top-notch user interfaces using Javascript and the Angular framework

Develop all server-side logic, including data storage to optimize website performance

Perform complex product analysis as well as development duties that may include significant research and analysis 

Ensuring extensive and proper documentation of solution designs and implementation for easy onboarding of new teammates 

Effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders to deliver requirements 

Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments 

Providing tech support for clearing bottlenecks and and obstacles 

Identifying and troubleshooting issues with frontend code 

Execute automated testing platforms and system tests 

REQUIREMENTS 

Extensive knowledge, experience and understanding of JavaScript and Node.js 

Professional experience in full stack development using the NAP stack - Node.js, Angular, Postgres 

In depth understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues 

Proficiency in browser rendering behavior and performance. 

Proficiency in Javascript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks 

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git) 

Good understanding of or working experience with IONIC framework is a major plus

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer (React, NodeJS) to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on software development, including writing code and unit tests, doing proof of concepts, conducting code reviews, and testing in ongoing sprints

• Work closely with product team and other full stack developers to implement innovative solutions to challenging web development problems

• Participates in system design and specifications, program logic and flow-charting, development, testing, debugging, documentation, and support
