Unstop (Formerly Dare2Compete) is looking for Frontend and Full Stack Developers. Developer responsibilities include building our application from concept to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.

Qualifications:-

• Freshers and Candidates with a maximum of 10 years of experience in the technologies that we work with
• Proven working experience in programming – Full Stack
• Top-notch programming and analytical skills
• Must know and have experience in AngularJS 2 onwards
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object-Oriented Programming and web application development
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
• B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent

Role:                Lead Developer – Full Stack Development

Location:       Hyderabad

Your goal will be to create beautiful, consistent user experiences across a diverse range of digital products and delivery platforms. You will be reporting to the Technical Head/Architect and will be working closely with our back-end services and data teams, UX/UI design teams, and Clients, business partners in a challenging, fast-paced, agile environment to deliver web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

• You will be an individual contributor programming various application interactions.
• Work with Technical Head/Architect in designing cloud-based web applications.
• Design and develop .NET Applications (Web/Mobile/Windows/API)
• Design and implement RESTful web services in .NET using industry best practices
• Verify and deploy programs and systems
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
• Join an agile team, participating in stand-ups, iteration planning, design reviews, and other typical agile ceremonies
• Manage and set clear team goals and KPIs.
• Delegate tasks and set project deadlines and conduct code review.
• Oversee day-to-day teams' operation and performance.
• Do regular performance evaluations.
• Create a healthy and motivating work environment and atmosphere.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• Total 8 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years of Lead Developer experience
• Experience in AWS / Azure Cloud Services.
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
• Experience / Knowledge of coding languages (C#, JavaScript, python) and frameworks/systems (e.g. .Net Core AngularJS, Git)
• Good to have experience in developing RESTful APIs using Node.JS
• Experience with databases (SQL and No-SQL) and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Entity Framework)
• Knowledge of DevOps and must have implemented in their project.
• Strong experience on the unit testing frameworks, code coverage tools, and Code repositories like GIT Hub, Bit Bucket, etc. and have experience with branching and merging
• Should have worked with Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of best practices and design principles in both object-oriented and functional programming
• In-depth knowledge of performance metrics.
• Good PC skills, especially MS Excel.

Your Day-to-Day Tasks Include: 

Ship product, independently and/or as part of a small team 

Collaborate with other engineers to build new features 

Debugging using dev consoles, firebug, firecookie, or any of your favorite tools. 

Help troubleshoot production issues and resolve critical customer facing issues Provide top-notch support to our customers 

You Should Have: 

A strong body of prior front end work, including significant projects written in JavaScript. Mastery of JavaScript; expertise in most of the following technologies, and proficiency in all of them: jQuery, CSS, HTML5, AJAX. 

Deep understanding of closures, prototypal inheritance, DOM manipulation, HTTP, web security, cross browser compatibility challenges. 

Strong Experience with NodeJS and Express JS. 

Hands-on with a code management system like GIT, SVN. 

Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably CouchDB or CouchBase. 

Good to have: Experience with ReactJS and Typescript.

• Help staff, build, and form the culture around a team of 5 engineers, a product manager, designer, QAs and associated supporting roles.

Qualifications include:

• Strong CS fundamentals including familiarity with data structures and especially the asynchronous challenges that face JavaScript developers today.   
• Experience developing in at least 2 server side languages (PHP, node.js, …)  
• Experience developing in at least 1 client side JS framework (ReactJS, Angular, …)  
• Experience testing software in alignment with the Test Pyramid.  
• Experience with datastores, either SQL (MySQL preferred) or NoSQL, and the ability to talk deeply about them.  
• Able to identify the source of complex problems occurring as a result of multiple systems interacting (experience with observability tools such as datadog/newrelic is a plus).   
• Experience working on a team of 5 engineers plus supporting roles (e.g. QA, design, etc), preferably as a Senior Software Engineer.  
• Experience with code review, being able to sign-off on another team member’s code ensuring high quality standards.  
• Be self-sustained even when tackling the highest profile, most difficult work across the organization.  
• Willingness to accept responsibility and be accountable not only for your own work but the work of the team as a whole.  
• Experience working with other people’s code, how to dig into it and make tactical changes with minimal side effects.  
• A solid understanding of how to break down user stories and give estimates that include accessibility and security requirements.
