About the role

 

Having found exceptional product/market fit, we’re in the midst of transitioning from 'start-up' to ‘scale-up’, and looking for a full stack engineer to help us scale Plum.

 

You will have a direct impact on the customer experience through the design and implementation of new features and functionalities in our product. You'll work as part of a small but rapidly growing high-energy team delivering incredible, creative improvements to our product. You'll be in charge of reviewing the implementation of applications following code standards and style guides.

• Spec, build, test, and deliver new features while improving the performance and quality of the product.
• Run test-harness to guarantee the structure, integrity, and design of the application.
• Solve complex CSS, HTML, and User Interface compatibility issues across browsers.
• Optimize JavaScript implementations to ensure that code remains performant.
• Implement front-end development workflows: build systems, dependency management, quality checkers (linting), etc.
• Push things over the line, ship awesome features, and delight customers.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience building web applications with Nodejs, React.
• Comfortable with Responsive Web Design and Development and weave out beautiful code in React.
• Strong product and design sensibilities and has an obsessive attention to detail.
• Write testable, maintainable code that's easy to understand.
• Understand complex problems and break them down into smaller tasks.
• Strong sense of ownership and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and collaboration.

• 4 Years’ experience in web application development to include UI/Front-end development to help develop rich interactive web-based applications
• Two  years of experience with Angular
• Angular 7+, Material, Typescript
• Expertise in chart libraries like D3.js, Chart.js, High charts
• Jasmine, Karma
• JavaScript (ES6), CSS3, HTML 5 APIs
• AJAX with JSON
• RESTful Web services
• Full stack development experience with backend Java, NodeJS is preferred.
• Familiar with object-oriented programming techniques and Agile development environment
• Experience in developing many different types of visualizations, including histogram analysis, time-series analysis methods
• Candidate should have an overall awareness of the performance and scalability of the screens created
• Working with Github
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

As a PHP Developer, you will write fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways. You will be responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification to developing, testing and launching. Should have hands-on experience in Core /Cake PHP. Should have knowledge of third-party integrations. Since an experienced PHP developer, we expect you to be good at HTML and CSS. should have experience working with WordPress, Open cart, Magento and Shopify. Write clean, well-designed code Produce detailed specifications Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary Proven software development experience in PHP Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, osCommerce, etc Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay etc) Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

Required Skills:

- Strong command on MVC design pattern and PHP Frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgnitor, Symphony etc.)

- Strong command over JavaScript Frameworks like jQuery, AngularJS, NodeJS, Jqeurymobile, React.

- Must have hands-on experience with complex MySQL queries and database management.

- Strong working knowledge of open source platforms like WordPress, Drupal, OpenCart, ZenCart, Magento, Magento2, etc.

- Excellent understanding of site development, application layouts and portals.

- Excellent knowledge of Cross Browser Compatibility for XHTML/CSS, W3C validated.

- Strong working knowledge of parsing XML documents.

- Experience with back-end development (LAMP stack).

- Knowledge of relational database management systems, SQL and MongoDB
