What will you do?

You will be our go-to person when it comes to ensuring that Classplus’ digital architecture functions smoothly. Though not a traditional customer-facing role, your work will be reflective of our brand quality as a whole.
With so much riding on your shoulders, we’ll need you to: -

• Guide the team in the implementation of visual elements from computer users' vantage points within a web application and translation of UI/UX design wireframes to actual code

• Design and implement low-latency, highly available and performing applications that scale for millions of users, and assure that all user input is validated before submitting to the back-end

• Develop application code and unit test in the Javascript technologies for the application development center

• Work with Test-Driven development, help define architectures and design patterns, and actively participate in PR reviews on GitHub


You should apply, if you

• Bring your A-game: Have knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as ReactJS, NextJS, VueJS, and experience with rendering techniques and writing high performing code

• Offer guaranteed efficiency: Have a good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them, and server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS

• Show promising experience: Have a good understanding and exposure to serverside rendering, and asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

• Show proficiency: Display in-depth understanding of code versioning tools, such as (Git / Mercurial / SVN), and cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

1. Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices
2. Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
3. Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs

Job Description :

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UX designs

- Build reusable/hygiene code and customize libraries/tools for future use

- Develop best user interaction and easy navigating features

- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability, coordinating the same with design team to ensure the required files are in-place

- Ensure that all user input is validated using scripts

- Perform cross-browser testing before staging the platform to the backend integration

- Final functionality of the applications to be ensured after backend integration

- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Job Specifications :

- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3

- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

- Development experience on latest Angular versions is a must.

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git or Bitbucket

- Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus

- 2-6 years of experience in the domain of UI Development

- B. Tech (preferable)

Skills Required:

• Deep understanding of React.js and its fundamentals, ideally including modern features like hooks
• Excellent understanding of TypeScript/Javascript including the OOP concept and how shadow DOM and DOM work
• Experience with widely used React.js state managers like Flux/Redux
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools like Webpack, Babel, NPM etc
• Knowledge of the overall browser rendering behaviour and measuring and optimising performance
• Strong hands-on experience with source code management systems like Git

What you need to have:

Scapic is looking for a front-end software engineer to join our exciting, rapidly growing startup. This role has the potential to evolve with the company as we grow. You will be building the foundations of Augmented and Virtual Reality tools. Your primary focus is to help us build our customer facing tools. You'll be working with a small team of fun + food loving engineers, and will significantly influence the technical direction of the company. Ideally you like to:-Build robust, high performing, and slick web applications. -Write reusable, modern code in javascript and react -Write clean, efficient, and semantic html and css -Build efficient and reusable front-end abstractions and systems -Work alongside the design team to develop new features, focused on user experience. -Work across disciplines with team members from front-end, backend, design, and product. -Quickly fix bugs and improve our development workflow to ensure our product remains bug-free. -Actively participate in product decisions, ensuring we set reasonable development deadlines.
