Responsibilities: • Collaborate with Business Domain/ Value Stream aligned Data Product Managers and identify opportunities to provide business intelligence, strategy and planning services to business stakeholders, determine the best approach for engagement and deliverables and gain commitment from stakeholders to proceed. • Work with business users to understand their use cases, functions and processes and help them define business intelligence, analytics and reporting requirements. • Design and develop user friendly and interactive dashboards to support business decision makers in making informed choices. • Develop and modify reports, verify information integrity and design BI dashboards, scorecards, charts/ graphs, drilldowns, and dynamic reports to meet product definitions. • Work with business units and functional partners to identify, prioritize, clearly define and document analytical needs, while maintaining perspective on the ultimate KPIs of the organization. • Collect, aggregate and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to drive insights on system performance. • Advise the Data Engineering and BI development team on the translation of business requirements into technical specifications. • Support the roll out of new BI products and provide end user training on the usage of dashboards and reports. • Regularly present and share findings with stakeholders to evangelize Business Intelligence tools and strategies. • Help to ensure that there is a continuous feedback loop which will drive user experience improvements and user adoption of BI tools. • Provide a mechanism for reporting the success or failure of a product against its value proposition. • Ensure design and branding consistency across various data visualization solutions, dashboards and reports. • Promote reuse of solutions or solution components through good documentation and design solutions. • Contribute to the ongoing maturity of the Data Product Teams operating model, methods and deliverables. • Perform detailed data analysis for assets in Databricks and evaluate them for quality and completeness for building data products. • Perform SQL-based data extraction, data validation, and data analysis. • Collaborate with Data Modeling and Power BI teams to design and deliver scalable reporting and analytics solutions. • Write user stories and define acceptance criteria to support Agile development of business requirements in Azure Dev Ops. • Work on a variety of initiatives related to Data Democratization operations. • Troubleshoot problems or issues and provide support to the data engineering team.
