Senior Android Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 Currently hiring for the position of Android Developer responsible for developing app from scratch.

We are looking to recruit a candidate for a role that will require:

● Translate design and wireframes into code

● Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code

● Identify solutions through research and collaboration that resolves the root of problems as they arise

● Unit testing code

● Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications

Requirement

5+ years’ strong development experience in android

Experience using RESTful web services within mobile applications

∙ Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

∙ Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

∙ Experience with code versioning control, such as bitbucket/git

Experience in writing code using kotlin is an advantage

Education: Engineering

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Min 5 years of experience in designing and developing enterprise software applications including the experience in architecting and developing applications on the Android platform.
• Experience in Java, Kotlin and dependency injection for Android app development.
• Experience with Media, Telecom, FCM, Network, JSON, XML, Web Services and SQLite.
• Expertise in mobile and Java frameworks/accelerators.
• Knowledge of WebRTC, XMPP, DAO, Firebase, RESTAPIs, Crashlytics, and JetPack libraries.
• Advanced experience with Android Studio, Gradle, Git, and continuous integration.
• Strong knowledge of the Android mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Fully conversant with SOLID principles, software development frameworks, design patterns, and enterprise in mobile application integration
• Experience with XMPP and Smack libraries and with RxJava, Dagger2 is desirable

Bringing up Android on custom hardware 

•  Android OS modifications, HAL interface definition language (C++ and Java)
•  Android, JNI and Android application performance optimization 

 Preferred Skills and Experience:

•  Experience in Java or Kotlin development (preferably Android) 
•  Experience in C/C++ with deep understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming. 
•  Experience with GIT or similar repository management and version control tools. Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools and Agile methodology. 
•  Development in a Linux environment with emphasis on Unit testing alongside functional integration testing. 
•  Android-For-Work, Android Enterprise features and EMM/MDM management solutions 

• Relevant experience in building a mobile application using React Native.
• Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components for mobile and implementing them following well-known React workflows. (such as Flux or Redux)
• You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. 
• You will be coordinating with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. 
• Should have published at least 2 live hybrid mobile applications. 
• Good understanding of Android / iOS / Web design guidelines, SDK and excellent JavaScript skills. 
• Expertise in RESTful APIs development. 
• Expertise with code testing best practices, including unit and integration testing to ensure a quality of code. 
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, TFS and Agile/SCRUM Development methodologies

Zobaze is an early-stage startup, based out of THUB, Hyderabad.

Experienced developers who can develop Mobile Applications using Flutter.

Work closely with founders on building product.
