Responsibilities:

• Engineer solutions using AWS services (Cloud Formation, EC2, Lambda, Route 53, ECS, EFS )
• Balance hardware, network, and software layers to arrive at a scalable and maintainable solution that meets requirements for uptime, performance, and functionality
• Monitor server applications and use tools and log files to troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Maintain 99.99% availability of the web and integration services
• Anticipate, identify, mitigate, and resolve issues relating to client facing infrastructure
• Monitor, analyse, and predict trends for system performance, capacity, efficiency, and reliability and recommend enhancements in order to better meet client SLAs and standards
• Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for system administration and DevOps tasks
• Deploy and decommission client environments for multi and single tenant hosted applications following and updating as needed established processes and procedures
• Follow and develop CPA change control processes for modifications to systems and associated components

Practice configuration management, including maintenance of component inventory and related documentation per company policies and procedures.

Qualifications :

• Git/GitHub version control tools
• Linux and/or Windows Virtualisation (VMWare, Xen, KVM, Virtual Box )
• Cloud computing (AWS, Google App Engine, Rackspace Cloud)
• Application Servers, servlet containers and web servers (WebSphere, Tomcat)

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Cloud Engineer specialized in AWS cloud services to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS infrastructure and services, including EC2, Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), Auto Scaling, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudFront, Route 53, AWS Certificate Manager (ACM), and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Experience with other AWS services is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

• Configure and manage EC2 instances to meet application requirements.

• Implement and manage Elastic Load Balancers (ELB) to distribute incoming traffic across multiple instances.

• Set up and manage AWS Auto Scaling to dynamically adjust resources based on demand.

• Configure and maintain VPCs, including subnets, route tables, and security groups, to control network traffic.

• Deploy and manage AWS CloudFormation and Terraform templates to automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

• Implement and monitor S3 storage solutions for secure and scalable data storage

• Set up and manage CloudFront distributions for content delivery with low latency and high transfer speeds.

• Configure Route 53 for domain management, DNS routing, and failover configurations.

• Manage AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) for provisioning, managing, and deploying SSL/TLS certificates.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide effective cloud solutions.

• Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud solutions.

• Strong proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, ELB, Auto Scaling, VPC, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation.

• Experience with other AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, EKS, and DynamoDB is a plus.

• Solid understanding of cloud computing principles, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a cloud environment.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Design, build and automate the AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Networking, EMR, RDS, S3, ALB, Cloud Front, etc.) using Terraform

Eligibility

• At least 8 years of proven experience in AWS-based DevOps/cloud engineering and implementations

• Experience in deploying and managing production environments in Amazon AWS
• Strong experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Knowledge of application build, deployment, and configuration using one of the tools: Jenkins

• Hands-on knowledge on various CI-CD tools (Jenkins/TeamCity, Artifactory, UCD, Bitbucket/Github, SonarQube) including setting up of build-deployment automated pipelines.
• Very good knowledge in scripting tools and languages such as Shell, Perl or Python , YAML/Groovy, build tools such as Maven/Gradle.
• Hands-on knowledge in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Good knowledge in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet/Chef and have worked on setting up of monitoring tools (Splunk/Geneos/New Relic/Elk).
•             Expertise in job schedulers/workload automation tools such as Control-M or AutoSys is good to have.
• Hands-on knowledge on Cloud technology (preferably GCP) including various computing services and infrastructure setup using Terraform.

• Should have basic understanding on networking, certificate management, Identity and Access Management and Information security/encryption concepts.
• •             Should support day-to-day tasks related to platform and environments upkeep such as upgrades, patching, migration and system/interfaces integration.
• •             Should have experience in working in Agile based SDLC delivery model, multi-task and support multiple systems/apps.
• •             Big-data and Hadoop ecosystem knowledge is good to have but not mandatory.

• Should have worked on standard release, change and incident management tools such as ServiceNow/Remedy or similar

DevOps Engineer responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. Skills and Experience

• 4+ years of experience in building infrastructure experience with Cloud Providers ( AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Experience in deploying containerized applications build on NodeJS/PHP/Python to kubernetes cluster.

• Experience in monitoring production workload with relevant metrics and dashboards.

• Experience in writing automation scripts using Shell, Python, Terraform, etc.

• Experience in following security practices while setting up the infrastructure. 

• Self-motivated, able, and willing to help where help is needed

• Able to build relationships, be culturally sensitive, have goal alignment, have learning agility  

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage various resources across different cloud providers. (Azure, AWS, and GCP)

• Monitor and optimize infrastructure cost.

• Manage various kubernetes clusters with appropriate monitoring and alerting setup.

• Build CI/CD pipelines to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of various services into kubernetes infrastructure.

• Work closely with the development team on upcoming features to determine the correct infrastructure and related tools.

• Assist the support team with escalated customer issues.

• Develop, improve, and thoroughly document operational practices and procedures. 

• Responsible for setting up good security practices across various clouds.

Total Experience: 6 – 12 Years

Required Skills and Experience 

• 3+ years of relevant experience with DevOps tools Jenkins, Ansible, Chef etc
• 3+ years of experience in continuous integration/deployment and software tools development experience with Python and shell scripts etc
• Building and running Docker images and deployment on Amazon ECS
• Working with AWS services (EC2, S3, ELB, VPC, RDS, Cloudwatch, ECS, ECR, EKS)
• Knowledge and experience working with container technologies such as Docker and Amazon ECS, EKS, Kubernetes
• Experience with source code and configuration management tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Maven
• Ability to work with and support Linux environments (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, CentOS)
• Knowledge and experience in cloud orchestration tools such as AWS Cloudformation/Terraform etc
• Experience with implementing "infrastructure as code", “pipeline as code” and "security as code" to enable continuous integration and delivery
• Understanding of IAM, RBAC, NACLs, and KMS
• Good communication skills

Good to have:

• Strong understanding of security concepts, methodologies and apply them such as SSH, public key encryption, access credentials, certificates etc.
• Knowledge of database administration such as MongoDB.
• Knowledge of maintaining and using tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence.
