About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and driven Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in database design (RDBMS and NoSQL), REST API and GraphQL development, cloud services, and programming with a strong foundation in Node.js and TypeScript. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend solutions, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Backend Development:

Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend services using Node.js with TypeScript (strict mode).

Build APIs with REST and GraphQL, ensuring high security and performance.

Implement various authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2.0, SAML, JWT, MFA, and optionally, passkeys.

Database Design:

Design and optimize schemas for both relational (PostgreSQL, YSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB) databases.

Develop efficient data models for large-scale applications.

Cloud Services & Serverless Architecture:

Work extensively with AWS Cloud services, and optionally Azure and GCP.

Design and implement serverless architectures and event-driven systems using frameworks like AWS Lambda or equivalent on Azure/GCP.

Configure and manage webhooks for event notifications and integrations.

Programming Principles:

Apply design patterns, SOLID principles, and functional programming practices.

Showcase eagerness to learn new programming languages and paradigms.

DevOps & Deployment:

Utilize Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) for containerization and orchestration.

Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipelines and scalable deployments.

Tools & Utilities:

Use Postman, Swagger, and cURL for API testing and documentation.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of Unix commands for troubleshooting and development.

Version Control:

Work collaboratively using Git for versioning and code management.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Must-Have:

Proficiency in Node.js with TypeScript (strict mode).

Experience with the NestJS framework.

Expertise in RDBMS and NoSQL database design and optimization.

Hands-on experience with REST API and GraphQL development.

Familiarity with authentication protocols such as OAuth2.0, SAML, JWT, and MFA.

Strong understanding of AWS Cloud Services and Serverless Architecture.

Nice-to-Have:

Exposure to Azure and GCP serverless frameworks.

Knowledge of webhooks for event handling.

Experience with passkeys as an authentication option.

The Salesforce Technical Architect is responsible for successfully designing and managing the successful delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations

• Translate business requirements into system solutions

• Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives

• Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects

• Follow and help define coding standards. Lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed

• Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation

• Ability to understand a project and deep dive to debug issues

• Provide solutions to pre-sales teams and present solutions to customers

Requirements

• 9-14 years CRM experience with a minimum of 6 years on the Salesforce platform

• Expert level understanding of the Salesforce clouds, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing and Community Clouds

• Knowledge of Manufacturing & Consumer Goods clouds is an added advantage

• Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions

• Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices

• Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture

• Familiarity with standard authentication mechanisms.

• Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different busines

Your Skills & Experience:

•                 4-8 Years with 2+ years of implementing commerce application on any eCommerce platform in last 3 years

•                 If you have not worked in eCommerce platform, we can still discuss with you if you are expert in Java/.Net and understand REST/SOAP webservices.

•                 Demonstrate proficiency in build and release management using CI/CD strategies (leveraging tools like Jenkins and DevOps practices), implement Mocha/Chai unit and functional test cases in order to reduce costs while ensuring quality

•                 Contributes to designing, implementing and documenting the build release process as well as system configuration and deployment characteristics of the applications

•                 Participates in technical walkthroughs/ code reviews of other team members’ components, test plans and results and help them with gaps

•                 Collaborate with architect to define implementation processes and quality gates and standards

•                 Identifies risks and issues, and help monitor them

•                 Guides the development of reference and resource materials

•                 Mentors developers in improving their platform knowledge and development skills

•                 Communicate technical design to the developers and help/guide them in the implementation

• Bachelors/master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in developing web-based, E-Commerce applications on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).

• B2C Commerce API.
