Sales and Customer Service Executive

We are looking for an experienced Content Writer with a strong understanding of the B2B or SaaS/Healthcare industry and writing content accordingly. As a content writer at Nirmitee, he/she will play a key role in creating compelling write-ups focused on that are best suited for our target audience and industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct deep research and write high-quality content in the form of website content, blogs, articles, case studies, newsletters, PR, etc.
• Implement the SEO best practices in writing to increase traffic and engagement through on-page SEO.
• Collaborate with the rest of the marketing, designers, and technical teams to ensure that you align with the company's voice.
• Write content according to the latest updates and industry standards, and align with the brand voice and tone.
• Regularly analyze the market and make necessary updates and changes to the website content to keep the site polished and updated.
• Identify the target audience and analyze customer needs to address content gaps and create content to fill these gaps.

Role Overview

The Hydrologist / Drainage Planning Expert will lead hydrological, hydraulic, and drainage design

tasks across infrastructure, transportation, water resources, and urban development projects. The

role involves rainfall-runoff analysis, watershed delineation, hydraulic modelling, flood-risk evaluation,

stormwater drainage design, and integration of survey and geospatial datasets such as LiDAR, drone

imagery, DEMs, and topographic survey data. The candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary

teams and prepare technical reports, drawings, and engineering-ready deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct rainfall-runoff analysis using standard hydrological methods.

• Perform catchment delineation, infiltration assessment, and runoff estimation.

• Analyse rainfall, discharge, and historical flood data.

• Develop hydraulic models using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, or equivalent tools.

• Design stormwater drainage systems including channels, culverts, and outfall structures.

• Prepare GL–IL sheets, drainage profiles, and hydraulic gradient calculations.

• Integrate survey datasets such as LiDAR, DEMs, and drone orthomosaics.

• Identify drainage bottlenecks and propose mitigation measures.

• Prepare hydrology reports, calculations, drawings, and GIS layers.

• Coordinate with GIS, CAD, LiDAR, Survey, and engineering teams.

• Conduct field visits for drainage assessment and validation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

• Accuracy of hydrological and hydraulic calculations.

• Quality and completeness of drainage design deliverables.

• Timely submission of reports and drawings.

• Reduction of rework and improved dataset integration.

• Client acceptance of deliverables with minimal revisions.

• Effective interdisciplinary communication and coordination.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of hydrology, surface water drainage, and hydraulics.

• Knowledge of modelling tools such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, or MIKE.

• Proficiency in GIS tools (ArcGIS/QGIS) for terrain and watershed analysis.

• Ability to interpret LiDAR point clouds, DEMs, and topographic data.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D for drainage drawings.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Good communication and technical writing abilities.

Educational Qualifications

• M.Tech/M.Sc in Hydrology, Water Resources, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.

• B.Tech (Civil) with strong hydrology knowledge may also apply.

• Training/certifications in hydraulic modelling tools preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 3 to 12 years of experience in hydrology, drainage planning, stormwater modelling, or water

resource engineering.

• Experience integrating LiDAR/drone-based datasets is an added advantage.
