Job Description:

• Help design and create Automation test scripts using Cypress
• Good programming skills in Javascript
• Basic understanding of technologies like Node.js, Mongo DB, React
• Experience with tools & applications such as JIRA, Notion, Git, NPM
• Contribute to clean and maintainable code
• Write Automated tests for Complex API, web based applications with sufficient test coverage
• Works cross functional areas with internal teams in a disciplined agile environment.
• Develop and maintain required automation infrastructure to support new product feature testing
• Reproduces, debugs, and isolates problems and verify fixes.
• Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
• Understanding project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
• Works closely with software developers to create software artefacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures and test reports.
• Experience working in agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban and its processes
• Estimates own testing tasks and works productively with minimum supervision while showing excellent team attitude.
• Represents team leadership and provides technical guidance and training to junior test engineers.
• Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks and building test scenarios and acceptance tests.
• Investigating customer problems referred to you by the customer support team, testing bugs, and creating and managing bug reports.
• Noting all testing actions you have performed in daily and weekly reports.
• Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes.
• Managing the final quality on production release.

Qualification:

• Minimum 2 years experience in scripting and/or programming in JavaScript
• Hands on experience in Test automation with Cypress/Playwright/Protractor/Webdriver.io
• Bachelor’s degree/M.Sc./MCA from an accredited university related to Computer science/Information Technology discipline
• Must be detail oriented, analytical and creative thinker with passion for quality and test automation.
• Comfortable getting around a professional environment
• Motivation to succeed, ability to learn quickly
• Positive and professional attitude, high level of integrity
• Strong analytical and structured problem solving abilities
