Role Overview:

You will translate US structural engineering standards (AISI S100, ASCE 7, IBC) into computational

logic for a structural software platform. You will work directly with US engineering partners and

internal backend engineers.

Core Responsibilities:

- Convert structural design methodologies into mathematical models.

- Define load combinations (wind, snow, seismic).

- Validate member capacity and deflection calculations.

- Review and approve algorithmic structural outputs.

- Develop validation datasets and edge-case scenarios.

- Collaborate with software engineers to implement structural logic.

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong understanding of Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) design.

- Experience with AISI S100 and ASCE 7.

- Proficiency with ETABS / STAAD / SAP2000.

- Strong conceptual understanding of load paths and failure modes.

Preferred Skills:

- Basic programming exposure (Python or MATLAB preferred).

- Experience working on international (US) code-based projects.

Education:

B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering

Who You Are:

• Experience with Apache open-source projects like Spark, Druid, Airflow, and big data databases like BigQuery, Clickhouse.
• Experience making data architectures that are optimised for both performance and cost.
• Good grasp of software engineering, DataOps, data architecture, Agile, and DevOps.
• Proficient in SQL, Java, Spring Boot, Python, and Bash.
• Good communication skills for working with technical and non-technical people.

Job Description

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Must-have Skills: • Must know common security policy frameworks and possess knowledge of how security programs are run at mid to large scale companies • Must have managed a team to deliver “Managed Security Service” or “Security Operations Center” • Prior working Background in either SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight, QRadar, DNIF etc.) or Vulnerability assessment and Management tool (Qualys/Rapid7) and process • Has broader context and understanding of managed security services • Must have service mindset and empathy. Must deal with a level of ambiguity, chaos and apparent stubbornness from customers, and manage around it by thinking through the issue or request from the customer’s perspective to drive to a reasonable conclusion • Must have prior experience on Project Management • Must have prior experience of onsite-offshore delivery model and should have directly worked with US/European customers or colleagues • Must have ITIL process knowledge

What we expect of you:

• 4+ years of experience building scalable backends using Nodejs
• In-depth knowledge of any framework of Nodejs (i.e. Express, Hapi, Koa.js)
• Hands on experience with developing REST APIs using Node.js and any of the above framework
• Good understanding of standard authentication systems such as OAuth2 and JWT
• Should have experience with Socket.IO
• Should have understanding of Model, Caching, Async mechanisms
• Knowledge of server-side templating (e.g. Jade, Handlebars.js, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with implementing Role based User authentication and authorization system
• Understanding of Caching, Database Interactions, Middlewares
• Able to engineer the best performing solutions and always keeping scalability in mind

Full-time

- BE/BTech degree in CS/IT with more than 7 CGPA or similar.

- 5 to 8 years of proven experience as a Frontend Web UI engineer or similar role.

- Must have good understanding of Data Structures/Algorithms/Databases and other CS concepts.
