About the Role

Wissen Technology is looking for a highly experienced Senior Java Platform Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance platform services that power mission-critical financial applications.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Core Java, platform engineering, REST API development, and extensive experience working within the Financial Services domain.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Design & Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance, and reliable platform services using Core Java.
• Build, integrate, and support RESTful APIs and web services.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and platform design initiatives.

Performance & Platform Engineering

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure platform security, availability, and operational excellence.
• Implement best practices for concurrency, multithreading, memory management, and performance tuning.

Data Management

• Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Design efficient data access and persistence strategies.
• Apply strong data modeling principles and database optimization techniques.

Financial Services Domain

• Develop solutions aligned with financial industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Leverage a strong understanding of financial systems, products, and workflows.
• Ensure secure handling of sensitive financial data while maintaining compliance.

Automation & Workflow Management

• Utilize Python for scripting, automation, and operational tasks.
• Work with Apache Airflow (or similar workflow orchestration tools) to schedule and manage data pipelines.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA Engineers, and cross-functional development teams.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java development.
• Strong experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale platform services.
• Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software engineering principles.
• Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Deep understanding of concurrency, multithreading, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Significant experience within the Financial Services industry.
• Exposure to Python scripting and automation.
• Experience with Apache Airflow or similar workflow management tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of .NET/ASP.NET (Win Forms, MVC, .NET Core, WEB API, SQL server)
• 2+ years using GIT source code repository.

We are looking for a seasoned Python/Django expert with 7-12 years of real-world development experience and a strong background in leading engineering teams. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing complex technical initiatives, mentoring team members, ensuring best coding practices, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams. This position demands deep technical proficiency, strong leadership capability, and exceptional communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead, guide, and mentor a team of Python/Django engineers, offering hands-on technical support and direction.
• Architect, design, and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing web applications.
• Manage the complete software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, architectural patterns, and established development best practices.
• Collaborate with product teams, QA, UI/UX, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.
• Perform detailed code reviews, optimize system performance, and resolve production-level issues.
• Drive engineering improvements such as automation, CI/CD implementation, and modernization of outdated systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation while providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development with strong expertise in Python and Django.
• Solid understanding of key web technologies, including REST APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB).
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Proficient in Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in designing scalable and high-availability systems.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in mentoring teams and managing technical deliverables.
• Must be available to work on-site in the Hyderabad office; remote work is not allowed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices, asynchronous frameworks (such as FastAPI or Celery), or event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Previous background as a technical lead or engineering manager.

• Motion Graphic Artist with experience to develop our company's overall layout and production design.
• Motion Graphic Artist: Photoshop / After Effects / Illustrator. Take the design brief to record requirements and needs.
• Think creatively and develop innovative design concepts and graphics.

Software Engineer(WordPress HTML) 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Developing and providing maintenance support for WordPress site
• Design and build responsive, cross-browser compatible pages using Wordpress (including localized versions of pages)
• Assist with helpdesk tickets and troubleshooting as needed
• Optimizing page speed of WordPress sites
• Create and maintain the documentations of development work
• Ongoing security patching
• Work closely with the members of Web Team and internal customers

QUALIFICATIONS 

• 5+ years of professional Front End Development experience
• Experience developing pages in Wordpress
• Strong understanding of CSS, HTML, Javascript,PHP
• Experience with cross-browser compatibility and responsive web design
• Ability to create responsive web pages from design prototypes in Figma
• Understanding of JSON, Lottie, Web Authentication, Bootstrap, React, Storybook, and Invision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work to deadlines
• PHP and WordPress experience

• Research and test novel machine learning approaches for analysing large-scale distributed computing applications.
• Develop production-ready implementations of proposed solutions across different models AI and ML algorithms, including testing on live customer data to improve accuracy,  efficacy, and robustness
• Work closely with other functional teams to integrate implemented systems into the SaaS platform
• Suggest innovative and creative concepts and ideas that would improve the overall platform

The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications:

• 5 + years experience in practical implementation and deployment of large customer-facing ML based systems.
• MS or M Tech (preferred) in applied mathematics/statistics;  CS or Engineering disciplines are acceptable but must have with strong quantitative and applied mathematical skills
• In-depth working, beyond coursework, familiarity with classical and current ML techniques, both supervised and unsupervised learning techniques and algorithms
• Implementation experiences and deep knowledge of Classification, Time Series Analysis, Pattern Recognition, Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning, Dynamic Programming and Optimization
• Experience in working on modeling graph structures related to spatiotemporal systems
• Programming skills in Python is a must
• Experience in developing and deploying on cloud (AWS or Google or Azure)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with well-known ML frameworks such as Pandas, Keras, TensorFlow
