Designing and developing Ruby on Rails web applications/webservices in an agile environment
- Implement AJAX features and functionality using Javascript Integrate and optimise HTML/CSS front-ends Solid experience with RoR, MySQL/Cassandra, Shell Scripting Strong experience in Angular, Javascript, HTML/CSS and web services
- Working experience in using Jquery and D3 Experience in converting UI/UX design to HTML elements/assets
- Experience with SCRUM or equivalent Agile development methodologies
- A good understanding of usability and accessibility, including coding to WAI standards

Ruby on Rails Developer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
- Must have more than 6 months+ in depth experience in Ruby on Rails
- Experience working with ruby on rails as well as libraries like Resque and RSpec.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming
- Ability to write clean ruby code.
- Proficiency with code versioning tools including Git, Github, SVN, and Mercurial.
- Understanding of web services technologies such as REST is required.
- Good experience and understanding of continuous integration and deployment process.
- Knowledge in working with AWS or other cloud platform
- Experience in working with limited direction while exceeding delivery expectations.
- Experience with AngularJS or ReactJS.
- Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
- Knowledge of server-side templating languages including Slim and Liquid.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain elegant, scalable, and efficient web applications using Ruby on Rails (because clean code is the best code).

Qualifications and Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience working with Ruby on Rails (you’ve already mastered the basics, now let’s level up!).
- A strong understanding of DBMS and building efficient databases (you know the database world inside out).
- Hands-on experience with background jobs and multi-threading to make apps run faster than a cheetah on energy drinks.
- Solid knowledge of Redis (Caching) to make sure our apps don’t break a sweat.
- Experience deploying applications on AWS S3 (cloud is life!).
- Comfortable with Git and collaborating with a team (no lone wolves here!).
- Great debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills—basically, you can fix any bug like a superhero.
