Job Title: SAP Business Development Manager

Overview

The SAP Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding customer relationships, and promoting SAP solutions and services. This role requires strong industry insight, SAP product knowledge, and the ability to build strategic partnerships that support revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales Growth

• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities for SAP solutions (S/4HANA, SAP CX, SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, etc.).
• Develop and execute business development strategies for assigned territories or verticals.
• Have good experience in cross sell and up sell from the existing SAP customer
• Have good experience T&M and AMS support Sales
• Drive the full sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure.
• Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.

2. Client Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and influencers.
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand client challenges and business goals.
• Present SAP solution portfolios and value propositions tailored to client needs.
• Oversee proposal creation, RFP responses, and contract negotiations.

3. Strategic Planning & Market Intelligence

• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Work with leadership to define go-to-market strategies.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling SAP services.

4. Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with SAP pre-sales teams, solution architects, and delivery teams to build compelling solutions.
• Engage with SAP Sales team for leads
• Coordinate with marketing teams on campaigns, events, and lead-generation activities.
• Ensure smooth handover to project teams after deal closure.

5. Account Management

• Manage key accounts and develop long-term relationships.
• Monitor client satisfaction and identify areas to expand engagement.
• Act as a strategic advisor to clients regarding SAP roadmap and digital transformation.

Qualifications

Required

• MBA, BTech or related field.
• Min 3 Years SAP solution sales and 3-5 years of experience in Business development.
• Strong understanding of SAP products, modules, and services.
• Knowledge of SAP licensing, cloud offerings, and implementation methodologies.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in enterprise or consulting environments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Preferred

• Experience working with SAP partner Man or within the SAP ecosystem.
• Experience in middle east market (Saudi, Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman)
• MBA or advanced degree.
• Certifications in SAP or sales methodologies (e.g., Solution Selling, Miller Heiman).

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Embedded/DSP system design.

• Complex logic implementation using RTL coding techniques (preferably VHDL and HLS)

• Able to implement various complex algorithms and curve fitting/Neural network based algorithms inside the FPGA hardware.

• Writing modular RTL codes and design techniques using IPs.

• Simulating the design at various stages of development.

• CDC, STA, area/power optimizations, floor planning, linting.

• Interfacing high speed ADCs/DACs using state of the art data transfer links to FPGA.

• Using DDR RAM and SG-DMA for low latency, high-speed data transfer.

• Familiarity with high-speed communication systems viz. USB 3, PCIe, Gbe, 10 Gbe, 100

Gbe etc.

• Linux device driver development.

Skills

• VHDL/Verilog, C/C++, familiar with Xilinx development tools.

• Design knowledge of PCIe, LVDS, SPI, AXI, USB etc. interfaces.

• Ability to design using primitives instead of inferred design from RTL.

• Embedded linux device drivers, petalinux, exposure to yocto project.

• Exposure to various compression algorithms.

Desired Qualification/Experience

• Talent and zeal to work with new challenging system designs.

• Thorough understanding of digital systems.

• Hands-on experience on the RTL design, preferably with a repository of previous

projects

Roles & Responsibilities: 

Test Strategy and Planning: 

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans. 
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand product requirements and define appropriate test scenarios. 

Test Development and Execution: 

• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases. 
• Execute manual test cases and analyze results. 
• Set up, maintain, and operate test automation frameworks. 
• Detect and report software defects using a bug tracking system, and work with the development team to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve them. 

Continuous Improvement: 

• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. 
• Research new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices and share findings with the team. 

Collaboration & Communication: 

• Clearly and concisely report defects and other testing outcomes to developers and other stakeholders. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and quality throughout the software development lifecycle. 
• Facilitate and participate in QA reviews and updates to ensure consistency and compliance with standards. 

Documentation & Reporting: 

• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test scripts, and test outcomes. 
• Produce regular reports on test status, anomalies, risks, and validation results. 

Mentoring & Coaching: 

• Assist junior QA team members and offer guidance as needed. 
• Share knowledge on advanced testing techniques, tools, and best practices. 

Staying Updated: 

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in QA testing. 
• Attend training and workshops to continually improve your QA skills. 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role in a software services environment. 
• Proficient in manual testing techniques, including black box, white box, and grey box testing. 
• Experience in setting up and using automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc. 
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
• Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. 
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc. 
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Certifications in Quality Assurance, such as ISTQB or CSTE. 
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins or Travis CI. 
• Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git.

• Good understanding of various database types: RDBMS, NoSQL, GraphDB, etc
• Ability to build highly stable reliable APIs and backend services.
• Should be familiar with distributed, high availability database systems
• Experience with queuing systems like Kafka
• Hands-on in cloud infrastructure AWS/GCP/Azure
• Highly plus if know one or more of the following: Confluent ksql, Kafka connect, Kafka streams
• Hands-on experience with data warehouse/OLAP systems such as Redshift, click house and added plus.
