📌 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Build responsive, mobile-first e-commerce interfaces across all devices
• Implement custom features and functionalities based on client needs
• Optimize themes for speed, performance, and UX
• Integrate third-party apps and APIs with Shopify stores
• Troubleshoot and resolve theme-related bugs and issues
• Collaborate closely with designers to convert mockups into functional themes
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to web standards
• Maintain and enhance existing Shopify stores
• Stay updated with Shopify releases, best practices, and trends

🛠 Required Technical Skills

• 1+ years of experience in frontend web development
• Strong proficiency in Liquid
• Expert-level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Vanilla JavaScript
• Solid understanding of Shopify theme architecture & file structure
• Experience with Shopify CLI
• Strong grasp of responsive/mobile-first development
• Familiarity with Git/version control

About the Frontend Engineer role

Responsibilities (not exhaustive)

• Lead core development efforts for our front-end applications, ensuring high-quality code that is performant, scalable, secure and maintainable.
• Collaborate closely with the product team to understand user needs and translate them into exceptional user interfaces (UI).
• Partner with the design team to achieve pixel-perfect implementation while maintaining and evolving our design systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable JavaScript with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.
• Champion the use of modern build tools like Vite to streamline development workflows.
• Implement effective unit tests to ensure code quality and stability.
• Take complete ownership of features, from initial discussions with the product manager to incorporating customer feedback.

Experience

• Proven experience as a senior frontend engineer with a strong track record of building and shipping complex web applications.

Looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. primary focus will

be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known

React.js workflows with Redux.

Requirements:

Experience with web technologies (REACT, REDUX, AJAX, SCSS/LESS/CSS,

Excellent conceptual understanding of DOM, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and cross browser

rendering, behavior and performance. The candidate should have high level knowledge

with AJAX

Experience implementing static typing in JavaScript (Babel, Typescript)
