Roles & responsibilities :

- Developing new user-facing features using React.js

- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code

- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Desired skills :

- Strong knowledge of Javascript (ES6) including all the latest features

- Ability to create flexbox driven UI layout

- Ability to comprehend performance issues and solve them

- Strong debugging skills using the browser

- Knowledge of Git (including merging, branching and resolving merge conflicts)

• Strong experience of Angular 2+ and above along with other technologies like HTML5, CSS, jQuery, AJAX with good knowledge of ECMA Scripts.
• Strong knowledge of JS Fundamentals.
• Design & development of Angular applications as per desired specifications, along with experience in frameworks/libraries like jQuery, Bootstrap, Typescript etc.
• Architecture design, development, testing and maintenance of Web Apps, Implementation based on Angular Application MVC Patterns.
• Own end to end product modules/features (from the requirement to going live)- Design & code review, troubleshoot & help team members on issues.
• Gather requirements by interacting directly with the end-users.
• Research on open source framework/technology required for developing the feature/application.

Key Result Areas: 

• Build world class Webapps for the Ola Electric ecosystem.
• Work on a full product development lifecycle from requirement gathering, product design, development, to roll out and maintenance
• Effectively collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders including product and design
• Own the delivery of multiple features of the product end to end 
• Advocate best development practices such as continuous integration/continuous delivery, automation (testing and infrastructure) and code modularity, extensibility, quality
• Experience in building Websites from Scratch is a big plus

Key Skills Required: 

• Min 3+ Years in Web Application Development
• Write clean, solid and testable code while keeping the user experience fast and reliable
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JS, JQuery, Reach, Redux 
• Proficient in Web Interface designing
• Experience in developing reusable UI components
• Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services 
• Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce websites.

• You primarily identify as a Frontend Engineer or a UI Engineer and are comfortable working on the browser side of things with 7+ years experience (preferably from B2C startup companies).
• You can build accessible interfaces with semantic HTML, CSS, and Javascript.  
• You can build reusable, performant, and well-tested web applications that are responsive and work across various devices and platforms.  
• You can build features from scratch which are modular and scalable. You don’t hesitate to take them from design to implementation.
• You have shipped code to production recently and regularly.
• You are experienced in working with using modern web frameworks, like React, Vue, and friends. We use React but prefer people with strong web concepts and fundamentals who are open to learning any framework/library. 
• You are fluent in using the tools of the trade: editors, git, command line, Slack, Jira (unfortunately yes)
• You are driven, you care about turning in quality work, and improving your craft.
