Job Description

We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows such as Flux or Redux. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Responsibilities

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js

Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Hands on experience with Typescript
• Expertise with RESTful APIs integration and best practices
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Thorough understanding of React.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and its core principles.
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript.
• Experience with data structure libraries (e. g., Immutable.js ).
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

solution architect

• Responsible for assisting in the establishment of an IT Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology.
• Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.
• Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, (which may include RFIs, RFPs or prototype development), selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution.
• Communicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.
• Champions a structured approach to business application solutions.
• Directly assists in the development of a solutions architecture program including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture.
• Assures solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions.
• Influences changes to standards when necessary.
• Assists domain architecture team on solutions management and timing of financial spend for application solutions.
• Supports the architectural aspects of all application projects in peer IT portfolios.
• Directs the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
• Develops and executes solutions which further reduce the percentage of time spent on reactive work.
• Provides analysis of security protection technologies as necessary.

We’re looking Front End Engineering lead, into the personalization team to play active leadership role in delivering user interface for retailers to manage their product recommendations and consumer personalization.  This person will Design, implement and deployment of intuitive applications in the areas of personalization, analytics and marketing automation.  Person will own and defines the standards and process in Front End engineering, inspire teams in creating intuitive, simple and performant user interfaces.
 
Candidate should be willing provide technical leadership and mentoring to a small team of highly talented and motivated engineers to deliver these solutions with highest quality.
 
Ideal candidate is full stack developer, understands familiar with each layer with ability to set the UI strategy for the product and execute the roadmap, build teams.
 
Primary Responsibilities

• Architect, Design, implement, and deploy solutions that are reliable and perform at scale in multi-tenant environment.
• Collaborate with UX design group and convert the design to actual UI components and pages to delight users of our cloud platform
• Evaluate technology and make choice based on performance, scalability, security and future expansion.
• Work with different stakeholders within and outside the team in a highly collaborative environment.
• Working with rapid and innovative development methodologies like: Kanban, Continuous Integration and Daily deployments
• Engage with Product Management and Business to create Product roadmap, own technical backlog and roadmap for technology supremacy.
• Continually learn about new technologies, generate new ideas and improve the use of technology in the product.
• Driving various organization wide activities like Hackathon, Ideathon, brown bag sessions and technical blogs

 
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Strong experience in Information Architecture and UI Design experience in delivering concepts, wire frames, prototypes, and compelling visual experiences.
• Possess the knowledge of the Graphic Design, Usability and ability to apply strategic thinking to deliver exceptional end to end user experience
• Expert understanding of strong Standards Based HTML Development as also strong JavaScript and JS libraries / UI Frameworks like Prototype.js, DHTMLX, ExtJS, JQuery (one Framework at the least is a must)
• Strong experience in Vue.JS/Backbone.JS or similar.
• Strong in CSS and AJAX / XML / XSLT / DOM / JSON
• Should have fundamental understanding of JavaScript - OOPs
• Understand Cross Browser issues and client side cookie
• Would expect the successful candidate to be highly proficient in Web Standards including W3C and WCAG
• Possess strong and relevant exposure to Web Accessibility/ Usability
• Would require to be intimately familiar with defining UI Specifications / Guidelines
• Would be essential to possess knowledge of web-based technologies and their impact on the feasibility of design solutions, including the capabilities and limitations of Web Technologies
• Experience in the Retail Domain or working on building Analytical Tools would be a plus
• Very good written and verbal communication skills

• Ensure developing robust, secure, modular, and maintainable code.

• Test and update web applications.

Key Requirements :

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features.
• Experience with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, and Nuxt.js
• Should be having strong knowledge in HTML, HTML DOM, Bootstrap, Stylus, Sass, Less, CSS, and npm for builds.
• Good problem solving, decision making, and prioritization

Role and Requirements
