Position Title:

SDE Intern – Mobile Application

Location: Bangalore

Duration: 6 months (with potential for full-time conversion based on performance)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter or React Native.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver seamless app experiences.

• Integrate RESTful APIs and work with JSON data parsing, asynchronous programming, and real-time data handling.

• Participate in regular code reviews and follow best practices in mobile development.

• Debug and troubleshoot issues, optimize app performance, and write unit tests.

• Learn and apply Git-based version control, task tracking, and agile workflows.

⸻Required Skills & Knowledge :Programming & Frameworks:

• Proficiency in Dart (Flutter) or JavaScript/TypeScript (React Native).

• Good understanding of OOP and functional programming principles.

• Experience with:

• Flutter: Widgets, navigation, state management (Provider, Bloc, etc.)

• OR React Native: Components, Redux, Context AP

IComputer Science Fundamentals:

• Basic understanding of data structures (arrays, stacks, queues, hash tables).

• Knowledge of basic algorithms (sorting, searching).

• Awareness of time complexity and code efficiency.

• Solid grasp of programming concepts like variables, loops, conditionals.

Mobile Development Concepts:

• Experience in building and deploying cross-platform mobile apps.

• Understanding of responsive design, Material Design, and iOS Human Interface Guidelines.

• Familiarity with asynchronous operations (async/await, Promises) and REST API integrations.

Networking & APIs:

• Basic knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, request methods, and status codes.

• Hands-on experience using Postman or similar tools for API testing.

• Understanding of API security, including authentication and SSL basics.

Tools & Technologies:

• Familiarity with Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).

• Experience using IDEs like Android Studio, VS Code, or Xcode.

• Awareness of unit testing frameworks (e.g., Flutter test, Jest).

Sr Android Developer - Job Description About The Role CapitalNow is seeking an Android Developer with notable experience in Java and Kotlin development. The technical team is responsible for developing the supported mobile application and web app for customers and a control panel for the marketing team involved in CapitalNow. You will be responsible for delivering best in a class mobile experience, engineering-complex, secure & high-quality native Android mobile apps for our product.

Responsibilities ● Collaborate efficiently across cross-functional teams such as product managers, UX-/UI-designers, and other software engineers ● Design, build and maintain high-performance reusable, and reliable code ● Continually improve and innovate software development, deployment and testing to ensure high-quality, on-time releases. Conduct and participate in code-reviews ● Provide UAT support & needed assistance for release management activities ● Serve as a leader for team members to learn from regarding mobile technologies, development, and delivery processes

Essential Qualifications ● At least 5 years of experience in Android Kotlin/Java development ● Excellent understanding of Objective Oriented design patterns, Android fundamentals, and Android SDK (versions 5.0 and up) ○ Experience with offline persistence, threading, memory management, and performance tuning ○ Data structure optimizations, security, IPC, App Modularization ○ 3+yrs of Experience in integrating third-party SDKs like Facebook, Gmail/Google, and Payment gateways like CCAvenue, PayU, Razorpay, etc ○ Including Android Architecture Components, Navigation Framework, Android Jetpack, Android NDK, View components, JSON, and more ● Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services ● Published at least two original Android apps ● Knowledge of Google Playstore Policies and experience in handling all types of permissions in Playstore ● Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills Desired Qualifications ● Having experience working in the Financial Services domain (good if it's in capital markets) is an added advantage ● Familiarity with Unit Testing ● Hands-on experience as a Senior Android developer is a plus ● Having experience in writing complex queries using MySQL is an added advantage ● Immediate joiner is most preferable

• Collaborate with a team of developers and designers to create a web application run on multiple platforms
• Create reusable, effective, and scalable JavaScript code
• Design the data and presentation layer of the web application’s front-end
• Use additional JavaScript libraries such as Redux to manage the web application’s state, derive computed data from the state of the system, and make asynchronous API calls

• Highly proficient in one or more libraries (e.g. Redux, React Router, etc) for state managing and routing in addition to React.

We are looking for a Sr. React Native Developer to help design and develop a new mobile application.

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Developing high-quality JavaScript code for the application.
2. Working closely with design and technology teams to gather requirements and formulate solutions.
3. Coordinating with back-end team to establish JSON-based APIs.
4. Deploying and managing application on Google Play Store & App Store.
5. Optimizing application for maximum speed, performance, and compatibility.
6. Making recommendations to address UI/UX issues.
7. Providing assistance to QA to ensure the app is properly tested and QAd.

Desired Candidate Profile
1. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
2. Strong experience working with React Native on production apps, with knowledge of existing standards and best practices.
3. Strong experience in JavaScript, and Redux.
4. Experience with version control tools (GIT).
5. Experience with responsive design/implementation.
6. Familiarity with REST APIs.
7. Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Web pack, NPM, etc.

Bonus

Knowledge in any or all of any or all of Swift, Objective-C, Java, and Kotlin is a big plus.
