React Native Developer

Must Haves:

• Experience developing enterprise-grade quality software.
• 3+ years of experience building large-scale front-end applications using React.
• 3+ years of experience using type-safe JavaScript-based languages, such as TypeScript.
• Understanding of modern frontend ecosystems, including Bundling(preferably using vite) Linting, Testing, Releasing.
• Success with mentoring mid-level & junior Engineers.
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience writing automated tests (e.g., Vitetest, Cypress, Jest, Testing Library).
• Experience in building, scaling & maintaining a design system from scratch.
• Experience in improving rendering as well as delivery performance for front-end applications.
• Experience in writing semantic HTML.
• Experience in building scalable, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible web applications.
• Experience in a peak-performance organization, preferably a tech startup.
• Experience working with a remote team.
• Data analysis experience, and understanding of how analytics can help with product decisions.

Bonus:

• Experience building integrations and data synchronizations with event pub/sub-models.
• Experience with WebGL
• Experience in building offline applications using Web Workers
• Open source contributions.
• Running his/her own blog.
• Experience with building 100% keyboard and screen reader-accessible applications.
• Experience setting up and customizing JavaScript tooling and building systems.

1.     Significant experience of working in front-end web development
2.     Extensive programming experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS or LESS, and Bootstrap, Foundation or Materialize
3.     Angular Material, Chart Libraries(D3, Leaflet, Amchart etc).
4.     Solid understanding and development experience in Angular
5.     Experience with Typescript
6.     Experience with tools like Redux, Webpack, Angular CLI and/or Gulp
7.     Experience consuming REST APIs

Responsibilities:

• Build React Native apps from scratch that'll be used globally.
• Architect App infrastructure systems like caching, state manager, common validation framework, etc.
• Launch the apps in different app stores like Apple, Google, etc.
• Create custom reusable Component Library
• Create data visualizations like charts, tables, dashboards, etc.
• Write well tested, beautiful, performant and bug free code.
• Thrive in a collaborative team environment and work with challenging timelines.
• Establish and advocate front-end coding guidelines.
• Mentor team members and help resolve any critical blockers.

Requirements:

• A self-driven, hard-working Frontend engineer with an eye for detail.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• Minimum 4 years of overall experience with expertise in working in React Native, Redux and TypeScript
• Strong understanding and knowledge of Styling
• Experience in writing native code for Android and iOS
• Strong debugging skills for Android and iOS.
• Experience in launching apps in various App Stores.
• Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

In this role you will

• Be a part of a small UI team and will work closely with the UXdesigner and product manager to shape the product design.
• Build web UI components for a cloud-native SaaS product.
• Drive clear requirements for the backend APIs working closely withthe backend engineers.
• Focus on quality and velocity by developing appropriate tests.

Requirements

• Highly motivated self-starter with a builder’s mindset.
• 5+ years of web UI development experience.
• Highly skilled in JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Deep knowledge and experience of REST APIs.

Preferred: experience with frameworks such as React
