What you can expect as a Senior Frontend Engineer at HappyFox:

• You will consistently ship features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. 
• You’ll work alongside the Product, Design, and, Backend Engineering teams to iterate on new features within HappyFox products.
• You will advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance.
• You will solve technical problems of high scope and complexity.
• You will craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. 
• You will maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
• You will recognize inefficiencies in our team, and propose solutions.

You should apply if:

• You have 5+ years of relevant professional experience in building web applications with javascript frameworks like Ember.js or React.js.
• You have a sound knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• You can clearly and concisely communicate complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough, iterative solutions.
• You are comfortable working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process.

Responsibilities

· Developing user-facing applications using Vue.js

· Building modular and reusable components and libraries

· Optimizing your application for performance

· Implementing automated testing integrated into development and maintenance workflows

· Staying up to date with all recent developments in the JavaScript and Vue.js space

· Keeping an eye on security updates and issues found with Vue.js and all project dependencies

· Proposing any upgrades and updates necessary for keeping up with modern security and development best practices

What we need in you?

· Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features

· Highly proficient with Vue.js framework and its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM

· Familiarity with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, and Nuxt.js

· Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including

· Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits and use cases

· Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms

· Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code

· Familiarity with automated JavaScript testing, specifically testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha

· Proficiency with modern development tools, like Babel, Webpack, and Git

· Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs

• Build from ground up, a scalable server infrastructure and client applications.
• Design, develop and deploy features and consume APIs with high quality standards.

• Contribute significantly in reviewing code, design & test-cases authored by peers.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• 3-5 years experience of design and development experience building scalable & distributed systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from reputed institutes.

SKILLS

• Agile Project Management
• Software Development Life Cycle and Software Configuration Management
• Excellent coding, debugging skills.
• Hands-on experience on the following tech stacks:
  ReactJs, NodeJs, TypeScript, PostgresSQL/MongoDB, Nginx, Pm2, Redis, Bootstrap, CSS
• Knowledge of Microservices and REST APIs.
• Must have: Experience with managing server infra in hybrid cloud AWS & GCP.
• Must Have: Very good understanding of OOPS and design patterns.
• Nice to have: Hands-on-experience with analytics using ELK stack/ Mixpanel
