About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Software Developer to join our team responsible for developing and maintaining a robust ERP solution used by approximately 400 customers and more than 30000 users worldwide. The system is built using C# (.NET Core), leverages SQL Server for data management, and is hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a mission-critical product, contribute to architectural decisions, and help shape the future of our cloud-native ERP platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features and modules within the ERP system using C# (.NET Core)
• Optimize and manage SQL Server database interactions for performance and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, Product Management, and Support
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning
• Contribute to the adoption and improvement of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where applicable

Qualifications

• Curiosity, passion, teamwork, and initiative
• Strong experience with C# and .NET Core in enterprise application development
• Solid understanding of SQL Server, including query optimization and schema design
• Experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, etc.)
• Ability to utilize agentic AI as a development support, with a critical thinking attitude
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience with ERP systems or other complex business applications is a plus

Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Rewrite existing APIs in NodeJS. 
• Remodel the APIs into Micro services-based architecture. 
• Implement a caching layer wherever possible. 
• Optimize the API for high performance and scalability. 
• Write unit tests for API Testing.

Skills Required: 

• At least 2 years of experience developing Backends using NodeJS — should be well versed with its asynchronous nature & event loop, and know its quirks and workarounds. 
• Excellent hands-on experience using MySQL or any other SQL Database. 
• Good knowledge of MongoDB or any other NoSQL Database. 
• Good knowledge of Redis, its data types, and their use cases. 
• Experience with graph-based databases like GraphQL and Neo4j. 
• Experience developing and deploying REST APIs. 
• Good knowledge of Unit Testing and available Test Frameworks. 
• Good understanding of advanced JS libraries and frameworks. 
• Experience with Web sockets, Service Workers, and Web Push Notifications. 
• Familiar with NodeJS profiling tools. 
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git. 
• Good knowledge of creating and maintaining DevOps infrastructure on cloud platforms. 
• Should be a fast learner and a go-getter — without any fear of trying out new things Preferences. 
• Experience building a large scale social or location-based app.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 Years of experience in PHP7
• 1 Year experience in Node.js/Python
• Good work experience in PHP7 
• Strong knowledge in OOPS.
• Proven knowledge on REST and SOAP API integrations 
• Experience in composer installations
• Strong in Javascript and Node.js concepts.
• Good knowledge of MongoDB and MySql
• Knowledge of versioning tools (SVN/GIT)
• Having knowledge on Amazon AWS and Google Cloud Platform is an added advantage
• Having knowledge of elastic search is an added advantage
• Good to have knowledge on p threads

Key aspects of this role: 

• Maintain, update, and enhance ITSM environment including Incident, Request,  Problem, Change and Knowledge Management, Service Catalog, Service Portals,  SLAs, Discovery, and Integrations 
• Participate in the implementation and configuration of other ServiceNow products outside of ITSM to increase the adoption of the ServiceNow platform. • Responsible for performing daily administration, issue resolution, and  troubleshooting of the ServiceNow platform. Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.

To be the right fit, you will need: 

• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in ServiceNow development and  configuration.  
• Proficient in developing, integrating and maintaining applications using ServiceNow Platform technology and tools.
• Understanding of and experience working with IT Service Management processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, SLM, Service Catalog), PPM/ITBM• Understanding of IT and business requirements with ability to develop, test, deploy improvements, and update Manage and administer lists, filters, forms, platform  interfaces (to other data sources) and the data within tables, import sets and the  CMDB.
