Responsibilities

Work with the development team in an agile environment to test new and existing features.

Design, write and execute test plans for new and existing product features.

Work as a liaison between Customer Support and Engineering Teams.

Ability to learn and understand complex systems and technical issues

Capability to troubleshoot and debug external and internal issues.

Designing, Developing, Maintaining, and updating the Test Automation Framework as per the need.

Plan and design effective and elegant QA processes and metrics to support a rapidly growing codebase and products.

Work with Customer support teams to answer engineering/product related questions, to reproduce customer issue, report bugs, verify bug fixes, etc.

Collaborate and work with our small knit engineering team in an Agile environment.

Skills and Experience

A minimum of 3+ years of technical experience in Quality Engineering.

Hands-on experience for Test Automation preferably using Javascript/Java and experience using tools that facilitate QA of large,

Experience using tools that facilitate QA of large-scale, high volume SaaS software deployments preferred.

Understanding / Testing of Microservices-based software.

Exposure to API testing using REST/SOAP

Test automation experience such as Selenium ,Cypress or any other framework.

Experience in Test Planning - Integration, Functional and Regression test cases from the requirements/stories

Knowledge / Experience with Cloud-based platforms and technologies – AWS/Azure/GCP

Hands-on testing experience with CI/CD deployments.

Experience / Understanding of Perf Tests

Experience / Understanding with Test and Code Coverage Tools and analysis.

We are looking for Senior Software Engineer with expertise and experience in designing and automating  the testing framework of web applications. The role involves continuous collaboration with development team, partners.

Responsibilities:

We are currently looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our fast-growing QA team. With our Product Engineering team rapidly iterating and deploying new code, our Test Engineers drive the crucial effort of designing automated test suites that are reliable and maintainable. This team is tasked with ensuring the automated testing of Socure’s existing code and developing thorough test approaches for new features and products.

• Work closely with the rest of the Engineering team to deliver high quality products in an agile development environment
• Participate in product design discussions and sprint planning meetings
• Participate in full cycle SDLC: initial design, test implementation, identifying bugs, verifying bug fixes and production release
• Design and write comprehensive test plans and test cases for releases
• Perform manual and automated testing for REST web service APIs / web applications
• Build and enhance automated test suites and test harnesses
• Improve and maintain high coverage of regression automated tests
• Improve and innovate the tooling to run tests reliably and efficiently
• Test and verify requirements of newly implemented code by Engineering for Data Scientists
• Perform statistical analysis on project data for Data Science

• 5+ years of experience with testing, test automation and development
• Strong experience in designing and reviewing test plans and test cases
• Solid experience in both manual and automated testing for REST web service APIs and/or web applications
• Experience in automation frameworks, like testNG, Selenium or Cypress
• Strong coding skills in programming languages like Java, Scala or Javascript
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Capable of comprehending and contributing to high level requirements and designs
• Good understanding of Linux / Unix platform

• Prior experience with Amazon Web Service (AWS)

Job Description :

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

- 8+ years of industry experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on testing and 2 years as a manager.

- Strong knowledge of QA methodology, Testing tools and Test Automation.

- Experience defining automation strategy and influence planning to achieve automation growth.

- Experience troubleshooting complex systems and root causing customer facing software issues.

- Experience with a number of different programming languages and test automation technologies.

- Problem-solving skills and the abilities to analyze quantitatively, scope technical requirements and effectively prioritize program deliverables.

• Good knowledge of storage stack, file system internals, and testing tools like fio, fsct, vdbench, dd, specFs etc.
• Strong knowledge of one or more storage protocols like NFS, iSCSI, CIFS, SMB, S3.
• Prior experience of testing storage filers using NFS/SMB/CIFS/S3 is a big plus.
• Experience with distributed systems (databases, storage, map-reduce frameworks, etc.).
• Good understanding of storage performance characteristics.
• Prior work experience in testing enterprise storage products is a must.
• Prior experience of programming, preferably in Go, Python, bash.
• Knowledge of ESXi, HyperV, KVM is a plus.
