About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack (MERN) Developer to join our product engineering team. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a product-based software development company and should have hands-on involvement in e-commerce platform projects.

Mandatory Criteria

• Candidate must be currently working or have prior experience in a product-based software development company
• Candidate must have worked on at least one e-commerce platform project (end-to-end involvement)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality front-end code
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation
• Work in a collaborative, agile development environment

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, and Express.js
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and architectural patterns
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Understanding of CI/CD and cloud-based deployment practices
• Good grasp of performance optimization, caching, and security practices

• Proven record of designing and delivering complex networking products from inception to production delivery. 
• Previous experience developing quality software for commercial products.
• Experience with communication systems involving wireless, radio, security and mesh networking technologies is a plus.
• Ability to work in a small team on fast paced projects that have tight deadlines
• Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Must be an excellent SW developer. We expect experience developing software C/C++ in Linux. Python and other scripting languages is a plus.
• Target hardware includes Embedded CPU, DSP, and ARM environments
• Experience with Linux development infrastructure, tool chain and build environment.
• Experience developing both Linux device drivers and application software; installing Linux software and configuring embedded Linux systems
• Experience with OSI networking protocols and applications
• Experience and knowledge of Board Support package (BSP) development including board bring up, tool chain creation, and firmware/diagnostics support
• Experience with system development tools, including Source-Level Debuggers, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Code Analysis tools, etc.

Experience in programming Embedded C applications.

• Strong development experience in embedded C and RTOS

Should have detailed knowledge on microcontrollers / microprocessors

Should have detailed knowledge in powertrain function development for BEV, Fuel Cell and H2-Motor 

Strong development experience in MATLAB for powertrain function development

Strong development experience in CAN / LIN /Flexray / UDS / KWP, SPI communication protocols

Knowledge in tools like CANalyser / CANoe, CANDiva, CANstress, CANDELA studio, Lauterbach

Experience in scripting languages like Shell / Perl / CAPL / Make etc.,

Experience in using tools like Logiscope / Function Generator / Oscilloscope, etc

Experience in configuration management & defect tracking tools

Automotive domain and powertrain systems knowledge a plus

Ability to work as part of a dedicated project team and independently

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be a self-starter.

• Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Own code for the products with responsibilities including but not limited to designing, developing, testing, maintenance of products.
• Building RESTful services and do DevOps.
• Talking to customers and business teams to suggest improvement areas in product flows.
• Create peer learnings for team members and build context for new teammates
• Help with building the company's tech team and iterating on the hiring framework.
• Provide regular feedback to your team (peers and managers) to ensure continuous improvement.

Skills & Requirements

• Good knowledge and experience of working with backend systems; designing server-side architecture, including production maintenance experience are must-haves.
• At least 1-8 years of experience in any programming languages like Java, Ruby, PHP, Python, and Node.js(Node.js preferred).
• Understanding of micro-services-oriented architecture.
• Experience with Databases design (SQL, NoSQL) and analytics
• Experience in driving and delivering complex features/software modules from technical design to launch.
• Expertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Have empathy for the users you build for

What you should have -

3. Experience working with server technologies Node.js
4. Experience in API design and development.
5. Understanding of SQL / NoSQL databases MongoDB.
6. Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms.
