1. Data Entry and Record Keeping

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

4. Preparation of Financial Statements

• Assisting with audit preparation: Helping with audits by preparing and organizing the necessary financial documents.

5. Expense Management

• Monitoring expenses: Assisting in reviewing company expenses to ensure they adhere to the budget and are properly recorded.
• Processing employee reimbursements: Reviewing and processing employee expense reports for approval.

6. Administrative Support

• Supporting senior accountants: Providing assistance to senior accountants and other team members in financial analysis and reporting tasks.
• Maintaining financial systems: Helping ensure that the company’s accounting systems and software are up to date and functioning properly.

7. Financial Analysis Assistance

• Preparing reports: Assisting in creating financial reports and summaries for management to support decision-making processes.

8. Communication

As a Data Scientist II, you will be part of the Product Risk Operations team that owns the development of AI-powered technology that helps our clients make communities safer and more resilient. What You’ll Do

• Become a subject matter expert on products, including understanding how AI can be used in the utilities industry to enable our clients desired outcomes.

• Lead design of experiments and hypothesis tests related to machine learning product features development.

• Mentor junior staff members.

Who You Are

• 3-5 years of experience building and deploying machine learning models
• Master’s or PHD in statistics, mathematics, computer science or another quantitative field
• Strong problem solving skills with emphasis on product development.
• Well versed in programming languages such as R or Python with experience using libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, tensor flow .
• Experience with SQL and relational databases for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience using a variety of Machine Learning techniques for Predictive Modeling, Classification, Natural Language Processing (including Large Language Models), Content Recommendation Systems, Time Series Techniques 
• Passionate about being up-to-date with the latest developments in Machine Learning
