Job Title: MySQL Database Administrator (DBA)

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced MySQL Database Administrator with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience to manage, maintain, and optimize our database systems. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in MySQL database architecture, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and ensuring high availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain MySQL database servers.

Monitor database performance and implement changes for improvement.

Perform regular backups and recovery operations.

Optimize database performance through query optimization and indexing.

Ensure database security, integrity, and high availability.

Manage database replication and clustering setups.

Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

Plan for capacity and database growth.

Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for schema design, deployment, and upgrades.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in MySQL DBA roles.

Strong knowledge of MySQL versions 8 .0 +

Experience with MySQL replication (master-slave, master-master).

Proficient in performance tuning and query optimization.

Experience with backup and recovery strategies .

Familiarity with MySQL monitoring tools

Understanding of database security best practices.

Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

• Core Java: advanced level competency, should have worked on projects with core Java development.

• Airflow, Oozie, Sqoop, Zookeeper, Kafka: Good to have knowledge about purpose and working of these technology toolsets. Working experience will be a plus point here.
