Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our Lighthouse Tech Team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing manual testing of our software applications to ensure they meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify testing requirements and ensure that all features function as intended.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute manual test cases and document results.
• Identify, report, and track defects in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand application functionality and testing requirements.
• Participate in test planning and design activities.
• Conduct regression testing and ensure that existing functionality is not affected by new changes.
• Provide feedback on usability and user experience.
• Assist in the development of testing documentation and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in manual software testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure,JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality releases.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
• Perform database testing and write SQL queries to validate data in backend.
• Utilize Charles Proxy or similar tools(like DevTools) for network traffic analysis and debugging.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and clarify expectations.
• Document test cases, test plans, and report defects efficiently.
• Ensure good software quality standards and best practices.
• Lead and mentor junior testers if required.

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong experience in API testing and database validation.

• Ability to work with network proxy tools such as Charles Proxy.
• Ability to interact with cross-functional teams and drive discussions on requirements and issue resolutions.
• Experience in Azure DevOps for defect tracking and test management tools.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through manual and automated testing. The Senior QA Engineer will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve quality issues, as well as develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience with both manual and automation testing methodologies and tools.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and execute manual test cases for new features and enhancements
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools
• Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects
• Participate in code and design reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality
• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Identify, prioritize, and report defects and issues to the development team
• Analyze and interpret test results to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and quality criteria
• Ensure that all testing is completed on time and within budget
• Continuously improve the testing process through the use of new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices

What you’ll bring:

• 5-7 years of experience in the software quality field
• At least 1 year of experience working in the eCommerce domain and familiarity with Agile methodology
• Familiarity with the entire software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Stress & Scale, Smoke & Sanity)
• Understanding of microservices and serverless architecture and deployment
• Understanding of existing QA best practices and methodologies to design, implement and automate processes
• Detailed and effective written communication skills for documenting the features tested and bugs found
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, extremely responsive and able to prioritize a large number of tasks
• Self-motivated, work well independently and with others

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.

QA engineer responsibilities include:

Designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)

The QA technician role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective. Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Requirements

• Proven work experience in software development

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• knowledge of Selenium/Appium for web and app automation in android and IOS
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience of 3 years to 8 years
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.

• Helps Test Lead to prepare the Test Plan and coordinate with Test Engineers during Testing Phase
• Performs Bug Analysis, understands the client requirement and help Test engineer to prepare the test cases
• Ability to multi-task/handle several projects effectively and deliver within timeline
• Peer Reviews the test cases, understands the Test Plan and write Automation test cases
• Able to write Scripts in languages like Java, Ruby, Python, etc.,
• Able to review the Scripts written, able to run the Maintenance / New Scripts and identify the issues
• Knowledge on automation test reports (TestNG, Allure, JUnit reports etc)
• Define onboarding documents for technology and domain for the teams
• Train/Mentor and evaluate juniors on testing specializations
• Exihitbit strong expertise in one of Load Testing - Jmeter (or similar tools) or Api Testing - Rest client/postman or DB testing
• Perform cross Browser / device compatibility testing using automation
• Understand and contribute to sprint release cycle process, ensure 100% test coverage and follow JIRA hygiene
