QA Engineer

Requirements & Responsibilities:-

• Strong experience in Manual Testing (Functional, Regression, Integration, and UAT).
• Hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Creating and maintaining the QA Documentation, like Test Plans & Strategy, Test Cases & Execution Reporting, RTA(Requirement Traceability Matrix), and Release Notes.
• Good knowledge of Database Testing and SQL queries.
• Ability to create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Experience in defect tracking and management using Jira or similar tools.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Domain experience in Banking and FinTech is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Execute comprehensive manual test cases for our e-commerce platform

Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright

Work with AI-based testing tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage

Identify, document, and track bugs throughout the testing lifecycle

Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues

Participate in sprint planning and review meetings

Create and maintain testing documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a relevant field (Quality Management, Business, Engineering, etc.)
• 5+ years experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in a similar industry.
• Prior Experience in a Lead role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO standards).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Peer Reviews the test cases, understands the Test Plan and write Automation test cases
• Able to write Scripts in languages like Java, Ruby, Python, etc.,
• Able to review the Scripts written, able to run the Maintenance / New Scripts and identify the issues
• Knowledge on automation test reports (TestNG, Allure, JUnit reports etc)
• Define onboarding documents for technology and domain for the teams
• Train/Mentor and evaluate juniors on testing specializations
• Exihitbit strong expertise in one of Load Testing - Jmeter (or similar tools) or Api Testing - Rest client/postman or DB testing
• Perform cross Browser / device compatibility testing using automation
• Understand and contribute to sprint release cycle process, ensure 100% test coverage and follow JIRA hygiene
