QA Automation Engineer

Job Description: 

Ideal experience required – 6-8 years

• Mandatory hands-on experience in .Net Core (8)
• Mandatory hands-on experience in Angular (10+ version required)
• Azure and Microservice Architecture experience is good to have.
• No database or domain constraint

Skills:

• 7 to 10 years of working experience in managing .net projects closely with internal and external clients in structured contexts in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of .Net Core, .NET MVC, C#, SQL Server & JavaScript
• Working experience in Angular
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Should be familiar with Git source code management for code repository.
• Should be able to write clean, readable, and easily maintainable code.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
• Experience in implementing automated testing platforms and unit test.

Responsibilities:

• Should be able to handle modules/project independently with minor supervision.
• Should be good in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Should be able to take complete ownership of modules and projects.
• Should be able to communicate and coordinate with multiple teams.
• Must have good verbal & written communication skill.

• Rewrite existing APIs in NodeJS. 
• Remodel the APIs into Micro services-based architecture. 
• Implement a caching layer wherever possible. 
• Optimize the API for high performance and scalability. 
• Write unit tests for API Testing.
• Automate the code testing and deployment process.

Skills Required: 

• At least 2 years of experience developing Backends using NodeJS — should be well versed with its asynchronous nature & event loop, and know its quirks and workarounds. 
• Excellent hands-on experience using MySQL or any other SQL Database. 
• Good knowledge of MongoDB or any other NoSQL Database. 
• Good knowledge of Redis, its data types, and their use cases. 
• Experience with graph-based databases like GraphQL and Neo4j. 
• Experience developing and deploying REST APIs. 
• Good knowledge of Unit Testing and available Test Frameworks. 
• Good understanding of advanced JS libraries and frameworks. 
• Experience with Web sockets, Service Workers, and Web Push Notifications. 
• Familiar with NodeJS profiling tools. 
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git. 
• Good knowledge of creating and maintaining DevOps infrastructure on cloud platforms. 
• Should be a fast learner and a go-getter — without any fear of trying out new things Preferences. 
• Experience building a large scale social or location-based app.

Responsibilities:

• Own, execute, and deliver products/features end-to-end from planning to design to development to deployment
• Contribute towards technical architecture – including coding framework, cloud administration, security, etc.
• Writing reusable, testable, well-documented, and efficient code
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Integrate software components and third-party programs
• Possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills while using good judgment
• Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience in building products
• Solid experience in any Python framework and its internals – Django, Flask, FastAPI, Web2Py, CherryPy, etc
• Decent experience in building ReactJS Applications - creating pure components, HOCs, Hooks
• Good understanding of OOPs concepts, Design patterns, and SOLID principles
• Experience with REST API construction, documentation, and architecture, including API description specs like open API
• Very good understanding of working with SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL) and relevant ORMs Knowledge
• Memory management, multithreaded programming, and background processing
• Flexibility to understand and adopt pre-existing code
• Ability to prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
