About the Internship Position

We are looking for a motivated full-time Software Development Intern to join our innovative team. As an intern at koolio.ai, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a next-gen AI-powered platform and gain hands-on experience developing and optimizing backend systems that power our platform. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about backend technologies and eager to learn in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of backend systems and APIs.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code to support scalable web applications.
• Work with cloud services and server-side technologies to manage data and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend features with backend logic.
• Collaborate with the product and design teams to develop and implement user-friendly web interfaces
• Ensure responsive design and optimize web pages for performance and scalability across devices
• Debug and resolve issues, improving the overall user experience on the platform and ensuring reliability
• Assist in integrating APIs and frontend services with the backend
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and suggest improvements to enhance the platform’s functionality

Requirements and Skills:

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Good understanding of server-side technologies like Python
• Familiarity with REST APIs and database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases).
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a plus.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS or Redux
• Proficiency in frontend languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Soft Skills:
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.

Full Stack Architect

• Design overall architecture of the web based platform in the space of Analytics and Application Security.
• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
• Maintain code integrity and organization.
• Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements.
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
• Highly experienced with back-end programming languages – Python with Flask
• Proficient experience using JavaScript libraries and frameworks – ReactJS, Redux
• Proficient in Non-SQL DB like Mongo
• Well versed with Cloud Engineering like AWS
• Good Understanding of Containerisation like Docker, Kubernetes
• Application Development experience for both mobile and desktop.
• Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.
• Understands Microservices Design.

The opportunity we are looking for a MEAN Stack developer to manage the frontend, backend and server-side of our Product. We are looking for someone passionate about performance, reliability, and design with the experience and credentials to back up that passion. Someone who can take ownership of applications, work on responsive design and solve technical challenges and take pride in their solutions and code. The person should be able to translate the business requirements into world-class code.

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Build the front-end and back-end applications through appealing visual design
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Write effective REST APIs

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

• 10 + years of experience and expertise in database and systems architecture design, development and implementation;
• Expertise and experience in data structures, indexing, query, and retrieval;
• Excellent data management skills including ensuring data integrity, data access, security and archiving procedures;
• Knowledge of the language technology and video extraction research domains to be able to converse fluently with the research communities to transform research requirements into concrete formalisms.
• Experience in cross platform development for multiple variants of Unix, Linux including 32 and 64 bit
• Experience with NoSQL, SQL databases, statistics and algorithms
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Design, implement and test novel database architecture designs to accommodate the multimodal data types used in Client managed technology evaluations
