Python Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with 3 years of experience to join our

team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python,

Django, and PostgreSQL, along with a good understanding of backend development.

Knowledge of Java will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

 Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and

Django

 Design and manage databases using PostgreSQL

 Write clean, efficient, and reusable code

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new

features

 Debug and resolve technical issues and optimize application performance

 Participate in code reviews and ensure best coding practices

 Required Skills

 Strong experience in Python

 Hands-on experience with Django framework

 Good knowledge of PostgreSQL database

 Understanding of REST APIs and web services

 Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

 Good to Have

 Basic knowledge of Java

 Experience with cloud platforms or deployment processes

 Understanding of front-end technologies is a plus

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

 Additional Requirements

 Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice period preferred

1. Design patterns- socket communication/ micro services architecture 

2. Caching - REDIS MEMCACHED etc

3. Database - MONGO, SQL etc. min 2yrs experience with these.

4. Features created for large concurrent requests.

5. Node Js, Go lang any asynchronous programming language min 2 yrs exp with any one of them.

6. Message Queues - RABBIT MQ, Kafka etc.

7. Logging and APM (application process manager) good to have.

8. DS ALGO good to have.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Own development, design, scaling, and maintenance of application and messaging engines that power the central platform of Capillary's Cloud CRM product.

• Work on the development of AI and data science products for various use cases. Implement PoCs in Python, and Spark-Scala and productize the implementations.

• Contribute to overall design and roadmap.

• Mentor Junior team members.

Required Skills:

• Innovative and self-motivated with a passion to develop complex and scalable applications.

• 3+years of experience in software development with a strong focus on algorithms and data structures.

• Strong coding and design skills with prior experience in developing scalable & high-availability applications. Expertise in using Core Java/J2EE or Node.js

• Work experience with Relational databases and Non-Relational is required (Primarily MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis)

• Familiarity with big data platforms (like Spark-Scala) is an added plus.

• Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills.

• BTech from IIT or BE in computer science from a top REC/NIT.

Work on extremely high scale RUST web services or backend systems.

Design and develop solutions for highly scalable web and backend systems.

5+ years of hands-on software development experience.

At least 2+ years of RUST development experience.

Knowledge of cargo packages for kafka, redis etc.

Strong CS fundamentals, including system design, data structures and algorithms.

Expertise in backend and web services development.

• He/ She would be also responsible to experiment, explore and demonstrate application of new technologies by means of conducting quick prototypes to solve business problems.
