Mandatory (Experience): Must have 2+ years of hands-on experience as a full stack developer (backend-heavy)

Mandatory (Backend Skills): Must have 1.5+ strong experience in Python, building REST APIs, and microservices-based architectures

Mandatory (Frontend Skills): Must have hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React or Vue) and JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

Mandatory (Database Skills): Must have solid experience working with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis

Mandatory (Cloud & Infra): Must have hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ELB, AutoScaling, S3, RDS, CloudFront, and SNS

Mandatory (DevOps & Infra): Must have working experience with Linux environments, Apache, CI/CD pipelines, and application monitoring

Mandatory (CS Fundamentals): Must have strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, OS concepts, and system design

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Developing system components throughout all phases of the product lifecycle·        
• Own, improve, maintain, and enhance the code of a desktop client application with a native look and feel for Windows, one of the primary access points for users to Egnyte’s cloud-based connect solution
• Influence architecture, features, and implementation of our product·    
• Collaborate with other developers, product owners, and QA in bringing releases in a SaaS delivery model

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Leading a team of developers and QA (team size: 4+) with a full focus on productivity and business delivery
• Taking full responsibility for the new code from the design phase to running it in production (high-scale usage)
• Strong C++ programming (C++14 standard) and debugging skills and design patterns knowledge
• Experience with STL, boost, or WIN32 API·      
• Experience in the development of multi-threaded and multi-process applications·        
• Practice in unit tests development and continuous integration and hands-on experience with REST APIs and Git

• Managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.
• Development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end Integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application; therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.

• Bachelors/Masters degree in computer science or other related fields
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java or Python including object-oriented design
• A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Proven ability to take initiative and dive into new areas of technology.
• Passion for learning, analysing technology trade-offs and shipping products.
• Knowledge on SQL, NOSQL databases and AWS deployments is a plus
