3) Strong grasp of basic python programming concepts ( We do ask a lot of questions on this on our interviews :) )

4) Experience with databases like MongoDB , Postgres , Elasticsearch , REDIS will be a plus

5) Experience with any ML library will be a plus.

6) Familiarity with using git , writing unit test cases for all code written and CI/CD concepts will be a plus as well.

Role Overview 

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with 0.6-1+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Python, REST APIs, Flask, and databases. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services.  

Key Responsibilities  

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python applications.  
• Design and build RESTful APIs using Flask.  
• Integrate APIs with front-end and third-party services.  
• Work with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB,  Redis).  
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues in backend applications.  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.  
• Follow best practices for code quality, security, and performance optimization.  

Required Skills  

• Strong proficiency in Python (0.6-1+ years).  
• Experience with Flask (or FastAPI/Django).  
• Hands-on experience with REST API development.  
• Proficiency in working with databases (SQL & NoSQL).  
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Requirements:

Tyroo’s Vidtech.ai is one of the largest independent marketing automation clouds built for the video first world. We build software and platforms that allow our partners to derive maximum yields on their marketing spends on various video-first social platforms. We work on problems that involve building high availability, low latency solutions which require computing optimal decisions using various self-created modules as well as pre-available modules popular in the ML and Big Data world.

We are looking for a backend developer who has at least 1 year of professional experience in building systems on either Python or Node.js and is able to become an anchor/pillar for the team. The role will require you to architect and develop systems/features needed for our marketing automation products. Strong leadership and mentoring skills are also necessary so that the individual can train, educate and manage junior resources.

Technical Requirements:

• Must have prior experience with databases like MySQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis
• Must be exposed to cloud platforms like AWS or GCP and containerization using Dockers
• Must have worked with RESTful APIs and WebSockets
• Must have a deep understanding of HTTP, web browsers and token-based authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT)
• Must be experienced on Version Control Tools (Git) and Package Managers (npm, yarn, pip)
• Must adhere to coding standards and have the habit of doing unit testing along with regular and rigorous code reviews
• Should know about microservices orchestration using Kubernetes, web servers like Nginx/Apache and queuing systems like Kafka/Kinesis

• Python. Django Rest Framework experience would be great, but not essential! We prioritise
• quality over quantity.
• Postgres with InfluxDB, Oracle, MySQL and Redis experience a plus.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift and associated tooling.
• AWS, especially ECS, Lambda, RDS and DynamoDB. Performance and uptime are super
• important to us.
• The challenge of scaling a global, distributed API to 10,000+ requests per second.
• We have SDKs in a bunch of languages, so the more polyglot you are the better.
• If you like writing JS and React that would be awesome too.
