What kind of work will you get?

Examples of technical tasks:

Working on our backend SDK to implement APIs that will be consumed by the frontend widgets

Designing APIs for different auth recipes

Architecting auth flows

You will also be given non technical tasks like product brain storming, competitor analysis and writing documentation.

Requirements

Well versed in Python with 2+ years of professional experience

Familiar with and comfortable working with Web frameworks like FastAPI, Django and Flask

Familiar with HTTP networking in Python

Strong understanding of async and sync modes in Python

Bonus:

Contributed to open source, or have your own open source repo with a community and many github stars

Built an in-house authentication or authorization solution or worked with solutions such as Keycloak, Auth0, Ory, Okta etc

Job Title: Backend Developer

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs of our applications. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and efficient backend systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and staying updated on industry trends. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js, along with experience in database management and API development, are essential for success in this role. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating robust and high-performance backend solutions are highly valued.

Requirements:

Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js)

Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

Knowledge of RESTful API design and development

Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Roles:

• Developing core infrastructure in Python, Django.

• Deep understanding of data structures & algorithm. 

• Expert in C, C++ with hands-on experience

• Fair understanding of scripting languages Python and JavaScript

• Expertise in Linux user-level programming and exposure to Linux networking stack.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 15+ years of related experience with a Bachelor of Engineering in ECE/Computers or similar years’ experience with ME/MTech in ECE/Computers.

Strong expertise in AWS architecture, deployment and coding using Python and AWS Lambda functions. She/ he should also have experience with NOSQL database like MongoDB/ DynamoDB and exposure to Machine Learning. She/ he should be familiar with Ajax calls, interaction with API using JSON files and xml.

Knowledge of testing tools like JMeter and Selenium and programming languages like Javascript and Dot Net will be a big advantage.
The person should be able to guide junior resources, perform code reviews and solve performance issues as required.
