The Team

The team is a new and growing Innovation Accelerator that is exploring new ideas to expand the business. As part of the team, you will work on innovative projects that are fast paced and iterate quickly. You will learn about the modern data stack ecosystem. You will also be involved in every stage of the project - from ideation to delivering products and features to customers. You will:

• Build robust and scalable data infrastructure software

• Design and create services and system architecture for your projects 

• Contribute to and provide feedback to other team members

• Improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation, and code reviews

• Brainstorm and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms and products

• Work with product, design, customer-success teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and translate those into effective technical solutions

  • Kubernetes

• Demonstrated experience as a software engineer, with at least 3-5 years’ experience in technology roles
• Experience working on complex systems and cloud architectures, preferably in a B2B or enterprise context
• Experience with the Java programming language and frameworks such as Spring & SpringBoot
• Experience with front-end Javascript frameworks such as ReactJS
• Experience working in databases and SQL queries for high-performance 
• Experience and keen understanding of the value of working in agile teams

• Highly effective at communicating

• Spend most of your time developing brand new software in Python
• Build out a secure data replication infrastructure to replicate transactional data across a hierarchical system
• Build out APIs for supporting a fleet of 20k devices
• Build out a configurable data analytics and reporting framework
• Build out real time dashboards for getting a high level and deep dive view of the overall system
• Be responsible for independently designing and building out modules of the overall system
• Work with a team of smart peers and take ownership of the resulting system
