Role Overview

The Manager – Talent Acquisition will play a strategic and hands-on role in building a strong talent pipeline aligned with business goals. The role involves close collaboration with business leaders to proactively identify hiring needs, attract and recruit high-quality talent within defined cost and timelines, and continuously improve hiring outcomes through data-driven decision-making and superior candidate experience.

This position is responsible for driving recruitment excellence, optimizing sourcing channels (internal and external), and strengthening employer branding while ensuring compliance, consistency, and efficiency across the hiring lifecycle.

Principal Purpose

Partner closely with department heads and stakeholders to proactively identify current and future talent requirements.

Attract, engage, and hire the right talent at the right cost, quality, and time.

Explore, optimize, and manage multiple sourcing channels to build a sustainable talent pipeline.

Drive recruitment excellence through experience design, process optimization, and data-backed insights.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Strategic Workforce Planning

Identify talent needs and translate them into a comprehensive recruitment plan aligned with business priorities.

Ensure hiring plans are delivered within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.

Develop a deep understanding of role requirements, including technical skills, experience, and behavioral competencies required for success.

Stakeholder Partnership

Conduct detailed vacancy intake discussions with hiring managers to align on expectations, hiring strategy, and timelines.

Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders by sharing market insights, talent availability, and hiring trends.

Continuously evolve recruitment strategies based on changing business needs and market dynamics.

End-to-End Recruitment Management

Create and manage hiring plans with clear deliverables, milestones, and formal tracking mechanisms.

Coordinate, schedule, and conduct interviews in line with role specifications and organizational standards.

Screen, interview, and assess candidates to build strong shortlists within consistent timelines.

Conduct in-depth candidate interviews and anticipate hiring manager preferences to ensure strong role fit.

Talent Pipeline & Sourcing

Build and maintain a strong network of potential candidates through proactive sourcing, research, and relationship management.

Leverage internal talent pools, referrals, job portals, social media, agencies, and other sourcing channels effectively.

Ensure a continuous pipeline of ready-to-hire talent for critical and future roles.

Process Excellence & Data-Driven Decisions

Track and analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, and candidate experience.

Use data insights to improve hiring efficiency, decision-making, and overall recruitment outcomes.

Drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes, tools, and systems.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and guide Talent Acquisition Specialists to ensure high performance and capability development.

Set clear goals, review performance, and foster a collaborative and high-accountability culture within the team.

6 + years of hands-on development experience and in-depth knowledge of , Spring Java, Spring boot, Quarkus and nice to have front-end technologies like Angular, React JS

● Excellent Engineering skills in designing and implementing scalable solutions

● Good knowledge of CI/CD Pipeline with strong focus on TDD

● Strong communication skills and ownership

● Exposure to Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices is highly desired.

● Experience in working on public cloud environments like AWS, Azure, GCP w.r.t. solutions development, deployment & adoption of cloud-based technology components like IaaS / PaaS offerings

● Proficiency in PL/SQL and Database development.

Strong in J2EE & OOPS Design Patterns.
