- Test Planning & Design: Develop comprehensive performance test plans and strategies aligned with business requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Script Development: Create and maintain performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar, simulating real-world user scenarios.
- Test Execution: Conduct various performance tests, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests, to assess system behavior under different conditions.
- Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor system performance metrics such as response times, throughput, and resource utilization during tests. Analyze results to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, system administrators, and other QA team members to communicate findings and assist in performance tuning.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in performance testing within a QA environment.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
- Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, including load, stress, and scalability testing.
