NodeJS Developer

Basic Requirement :

node.js

•Writing web services REST and GraphQL using node.js frameworks such as express and node SDKs

•Develop low-latency, high-availability, and high-performance applications using node.js framework

•Develop using microservices architecture style and asynchronous using loopback

•Implementation of security such as web service authentication and data storage (such as database, key-value stores, and object storage) in the application

•No other fuss only code

Required Technical Expertise

•Strong proficiency in node.js, and AWS Lambda.

•Experience in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Amazon SQS, Kafka, Amazon SNS, Dynamodb, and Firebase

•Experience in using node.js frameworks (such as express, StrongLoop)

•Experience in asynchronous programming and use of libraries in node.js

•User authentication and authorization in a microservices architecture

•Integration of multiple data sources and databases into the application

•Understanding of microservices and scalable architecture

•Experience in creating database schemas (SQL & NoSQL) for the applications

About the Position:

The Professional Services Consultant (Developer/Team Lead) will be a technical leader accountable for gathering customer requirements, delivering best practice, and executing customer implementation projects while driving new revenue through identifying new opportunities and user adoption. The position also requires providing technical guidance and sharing best practices with the team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the technical implementation of projects to ensure successful customer deployment and adoption of Egnyte solutions
• Act as liaison between customers and internal teams such as Engineering, Product Management and Technical Support to solve technical problems and propose new feature development
• Engage multiple constituents at the customer organization – Business users and IT
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
• Communicate professionally and succinctly and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Qualifications:

• Strong software programming skills that cover four or more of the following areas:
• Experience with various Integrated Development environments (IDE)
• Experience with software repositories
• Programming experience (Python, Javascript, SQL, Bash, PowerShell preferred)
• Full stack web development and app integrations
• Desktop App Development
• Strong application development skills
• Use of SDK platform tools for API integration
• Prior experience developing and implementing Enterprise software or supporting Enterprise applications in technical capacity for a SaaS environment
• Strong experience in Customer Facing Implementation roles
• Excellent customer engagement, presentation, and communication skills
• Attention to detail and adapt to process in a quick changing environment
• Fluency of spoken and written command of English. Any other language is a plus.

Skills and experience

• Exposure to MOCHA, CHAI test framework
• Knowledge in Test Driven Development.
• Experience of working in Cloud environments like AWS etc

We have an existing product that's being used by thousands of customers worldwide and are looking to upgrade our design and launch new features that will serve customers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• You will work with Ruby, we are a RoR platform so understanding how ruby interacts with database would be ideal but not preferred.
• Build new integrations with property management systems (PMS) and also maintain existing ones.
• Understand nuances of downstream systems and design and architect your solution keeping in mind third party systems
• Talk to existing PMS and understand what new features can be incorporated and what existing features need to be updated.
• Fix issues that break and keep a track of daily status and understand inefficiencies.

Requirements:

• Ability to understand Message queues and how a pub-sub system works with multiple servers
• Experience in building distributed systems that integrate with RESTful APIs and SOAP XMLs.

• 8+ years of experience in software development in an object-oriented language such as Java, .NET or Node.Js
• Exceptional design, coding, and problem-solving skills, with a bias for architecture at scale.
• Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, front-end technologies like AngularJS, Redux / React and upcoming web technologies.
• Real-world experience developing large scale commercial services with robust performance, resiliency, and telemetry, delivered both Online and OnPrem.
• Strong knowledge of computer science, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Ability to appreciate complex problems with a thorough design.
