About the Role

We are hiring for our client for the role of Java Developer. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in backend development, Java-based microservices architecture, and REST API development. This role involves designing, developing, debugging, and optimizing enterprise-grade applications in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend services and microservices using Java
• Design and build REST APIs for enterprise applications
• Participate in application architecture, design, and development activities
• Debug, test, and optimize application performance
• Support deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
• Ensure code quality, best practices, and performance optimization

Required Skills

Roles and Responsibility: 

∙ Develop functional and fast-responsive web applications, using markup languages. ∙ Maintain websites. 

∙ Elaborate mobile-based and web-based features. 

∙ Troubleshoot apps for bugs. 

∙ Fix bugs if necessary and improve usability. 

∙ Improve apps for maximum speed. 

∙ Troubleshoot UI and improve its performance accordingly. 

∙ Employ the latest technology in order to re-built legacy apps. 

∙ Integrate UI elements with server-side ones. 

∙ Detect and fulfill front-end and back-end requirements. 

∙ Perform training and support activities. 

∙ Develop reusable code. 

∙ Write comprehensive manuals, guides, and documents. 

∙ Compile prototype and quality mockups. 

∙ Make sure that high-quality graphic standards are met.

About the Role

In this role, you'll work on design, implementation, and test for Dremio's system internals. If you want to be part of a fast-moving, fun, and accomplished team, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities & ownership

• Own design, implementation, testing, and support of next-generation features related to scalability, reliability, robustness, usability, security, and performance of the product.
• Capable of working Individually and collaboratively with other engineers.
• Collaborate with support and field resources to make sure that customers are successful with Dremio

Requirements

• Fluency in Java and/or C++ with 3 to 5+ years of experience developing production level software
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded and asynchronous patterns and their applications towards developing scalable systems
• Experience developing scalable distributed systems and deploying, scaling, and managing microservices
• Experience with  containers and kubernetes for orchestration and container management in private and public clouds (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) a plus
• Excellent communication skills and affinity for collaboration and teamwork
• Interested in and motivated to be  part of a fast-moving startup with a fun and accomplished team
• Startup experience a plus
• B.S. or M.S in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
